When Mayweather did his transgression in which he apologized; It was broadcast by satellite all over the globe, online and on every major print media news outlet in the world as he was being both persecuted and excoriated because he was an African American making those comments. So why wasn't Oscar treated the same?

However, when De La Hoya did his transgression, it seemed like the White male controlled and dominated media press covered it up because he more closely resembled them and he was perceived as less of a threat to them than men who doesn't like: Floyd Mayweather, Bernard Hopkins, Adrien Broner, Bud Crawford or Errol Spence, Jr.
