well... Based on what I saw last night Crawford will smoke Spence!

Errol fought smart early. He used his brain in there early. Instead of overcomitting early like I thought he would, he used that pristine jab and fought a chess match in the beginning. He took what he could get to the body early until he was able to gain a stronghold late in the fight. Spence is a complete fighter and showed an excellent defense against an accurate hard punching technician. It was a highly impressive performance by Errol!

I don't think anyone was surprised by this outcome. Mikey w as s never going to beat Spence. Not even close.

Spence gets zero credit for beating a small guy. Zero credit!

Spence won the tactical battle. Even though Spence was "supposed to" win this fight, he still outsmarted Garcia and won every round from the outside, stayed off the ropes, outlanded and outboxed garcia, used his reach advantage, mixed it up going to the head and body and throwing down the middle and wide looping shots to keep garcia on his toes. Garcia is the one that called him out, he responded and put on a clinic, shut him out on the cards. He gets credit for that, we kept hearing garcia was the better tactician and smarter fighter, garcia came in with NO game plan and only looking for a pay day.

I think most of you have this fight completely wrong. Yes most of us expected Spence to win but it was they way won that was impressive. If Spence blew Mikey inside of 4 round there would be nothing to talk about. Like Mikey said, Spence completely disrupted his rhythm with his jab and throwing when Garcia wanted to rest or reset.

Mikey wasn't just in survival mode he was completely outside his elements. Mikey's fight IQ was always better than his opponents'. In this fight his fight IQ was non existent. And worst of all for Mikey and all of Spence's opponents from now on is he saw everything Mikey was doing and was able to avoid taking anything meaningful. When he did get hit flush Mikey's power didn't phase him. This was a completely dominant performance against a good fighter.

I'm 100% convinced Spence will beat Crawford if they ever fight.

Mikey is pudgy and fights with his feet stuck in mud. Maybe eating pizza before the fight isnt a good idea. Just because hes always done it that way doesnt mean its a good idea.

It was a one sided beat down! Garcia did nothing and I refuse to give him credit for only trying to survive! Give him credit for taking the fight but he didn't put up one. Where was Garcia's timing, ring IQ, intelligence, and speed he talked about? Garcia looked like a slow flabby gate keeper.

As the saying goes "be careful what you wish for".
He got it and some more!!

Against the right opponent (Spence) none of the attributes:timing, ring IQ etc etc matter.

SPENCE made him look like a past prime gatekeeper.

Spence showed that he is more then a power puncher, he outboxed the pure boxer, used a nice jab to set up shots, didnt go head hunting and hit with accuracy what was given to him... Majority of people thought he was just going to overwhelm Garcia and use the weight advantage to his favor, he did the total opposite and outboxed Mikey

If he looked too good he will not get the Pac fight. Big money. Not saying he deliberately held back but it worked out well for his future plans.
