The thing is Garcia is smart and it's really a win-win situation taking on Spence. Loma would Matrix him and would make him look bad all night long. Smaller Loma. Bigger (but not much bigger like Spence) Bud would outclass Mikey plus would knock him out at the end. I both cases bad outcome for Mikey. Spence will just bully him and knock him out. Many still will praise Mikey and he will go out with big check from there.Just my opinion, but it seems somewhat backwards to duck a guy by taking on a way bigger challenge. People at least gave Garcia a chance to beat Lomachenko (some give him a good chance to win), whereas in the case of Spence, people believe so little in him that we get these types of articles that declare him "a winner regardless of the result."Comment

Mikey is naturally shorter too,but I would bet any amount on it. Lomachenko barely got past Linares & lost to Salido at same age as Mikey won every single rd & multiple kd against Salido. Anyone who knows boxing should know Arum wont let loma face Mikey anytime soon,Mikey has beaten fighters with ease who I think would beat/go life & death with loma. Loma will go life & death with anyone elite at 135,mikey is literally the best at 140 atm.Just my opinion, but it seems somewhat backwards to duck a guy by taking on a way bigger challenge. Well said! We shouldn’t prepare PR for Mikey losing already. Let’s wait for the fight. HeyMikey is my favorite fighter but this sentiment that he is a winner regardless is total b.s. and disrespectful to Mikey. Mikey signed the contract like a grown man and he will cash that check like a grown man, he better come to fight like a grown man too! I hope he wins but if he loses then Spence deserves all the credit.Comment

After Salido failing to make weight, hitting Lomachenko with enough low blows to be DQ'd, and having lost all control at the end after being hurt several times, he won. He put enough rounds in the bank early though, and he had no control of Cole being a ****ty ref. Still, in my personal opinion, he didn't "win" despite what history will remember.Mikey would brutally destroy lomachenko thats not even my opinion its just common sense. In the case of Linares, how do you barely get past a guy that you stopped? Honest question lol. In any case, Lomachenko has an uncanny ability to adjust to pressure, and figure out his opponent. I think that gives the fight intrigue.Comment

make no mistake I think Loma is very elite, but now that hes at 135 he isn't getting anymore landslide victories imho because at 135 hes no longer a destroyer hes just even w the best. I only meant barely got past because he was kd & was down on 2 cards, but thats the thing he deserves massive credit for koing linares when Linares was on his way to a win & I actually gained much more respect 4 loma than vs any of his past opponents, but I HONESTLY think Mikey would've kod linares & I honestly think Loma while being elite will no longer be dominant now that hes at what I feel is his true weight class(I consider it his true weight because hes 5'7" & is now rightfully campaigning at 135 after having competed at 132 in olympics). After Salido failing to make weight, hitting Lomachenko with enough low blows to be DQ'd, and having lost all control at the end after being hurt several times, he won. I think Loma has no business fighting anyone whos not at least a natural 130 or above because hes a very skillful fighter & aside from below 130 being full of mediocre fighters Loma just simply is a mismatch for anyone who campaigns below 130Comment
