Maidana is the only guy I've seen catch Floyd while he's doing the pull counter. He actually caught him the first fight also in the 10th round I believe. In the epilogue to this fight Floyd admitted to being hurt.

I'm not a Floyd fan but I suspect he would have survived. Similar to how he survived getting clocked by Mosley in the first round of their fight. Against Mosley he held tightly and did not let go till his head was clearer.
