GGG was #1 and P4P #1 and no one wanted fight him. He practically retired GGG. but keep betting against Canelo...I'm sure Jacobs is a bum fight also.

Fielding > Vanes retired two years, up 1 division, and 3-3 hos last 6 fights.

We got give that some MADDDD PROPS for Vanes! Sht was soo bad Vegas kicked it to the CURB.

Huh??? Both are HIGHLY RANKED P4Pers by most experts. Let's at least watch the fight before we call ppl hype jobs.

But if Spence stops him in three, then Mikey was overrated, right.?

The problem with everyone congratulating Mikey for 'daring to be great', is that it takes two to tango. To the same extent that many laud fighters for moving up outside their best weight class, many deride bigger fighters for fighting smaller men.

Errol Spence is in the no win situation in this fight. If you are someone who wants to see more of these types of fight then you need to give kudos to Spence for taking this fight as well; otherwise it will become less likely that larger fighters give smaller fighters an opportunity to 'be great'.

Or maybe it just confirms how good Mikey is.

Well.Said. I personally give Spence mad credit because he has demonstrated to genuinely want the best but is being ducked.

I also tend to give fighters massive credit when its a situation such as this where both fighters are p4p & in their prime,& Mikey is CLEARLY the best fighter at 140,who has also beaten pacs last opponent at full 140 & in imho more decisively a manner than pac did(& pac still is being hyped 4 that win smh).

So imho this fight is exactly the type of fight that both fighters deserve praise for, because unlike other fights where 1 was moving up,this is between 2 undefeated p4p champs who are genuinely elite not paper champs like past fights have been of this type & Mikey is only moving up 1 weight in reality(despite being a natural lw)& Spence is still relatively unproven(besides v brook which means lil in reality).

What makes this such an exciting even matchup imho is that Spence while clearly extremely talented & powerful, still doesn't have a great resume like fighters from yrs past who were on a whole other level when being considered the #1 welter, but because of this era hes considered #1 ww because ww is in transition between eras & because boxing has so many good but not greats these days.

                  1. Didn't even say Canelos names but his fan base is so senisitve that they have to jump to his defense. 2. You spend a lot of time talking down ggg but now he was #1 p4p #1?? 3. Yeah, nobody wanted to fight ggg.. Including Canelo. So much so that he took fights for less $ VS khan, Smith and Chavez Jr and dropped his belt in the process. He finally manned up AFTER Brook and Jacobs did. So why are you just praising Canelo who clearly waited the fight out?? 4. Now canelo retired ggg? This is why Canelos fan base is delusional. He was awarded a draw that hardly anybody thought he deserved and got a close decision that only 2 of 50 on press row had him winning. The official scorecards bad Canelo winning by 1 round. Now that narrative has been changed to a dominant win that retired ggg? Stop the shameless cheerleading and be an actual boxing fan for once. Lastly, both fielding and Vanes were trash opponents. But at least ggg took it as a stay busy since Canelo got popped for peds and didn't run around telling people he was making history like canelo did with fielding.

If Mikey beats Spence he gets another W on his record and another alphabet strap. I'm not sure what else he gets.

                      Could be......?
If Garcia beats Spence he is definitely the P4P King. I don't think he can do it but if he pulls it off he clearly is the Number 1 fighter right now and it wouldn't be close.
