Not in the conventional KO artist monster sense, but more in the "nobody could ever outbox the wizardly grandmaster of boxing" category. That's how I viewed him at least and he proved it legit.
Yeah but he forced Maidana to use pillow gloves to win a 7-5 decision and relied on clinching the last 5 years of his career.

Forced Madaina to wear legal gloves. That’s why Madaina retired his glove trick was discovered.

Any fighter with big big power will be called a boogieman by someone. The ones with skills to deliver that power were the true boogiemen. Over time there have been lots of them. The only problem is over time, they will eventually lose a step and lose, and will lose that aura along with it.

It has happened to all of them. It only proves they are human after all.

                    Juan Manuel Marquez
                    Jose Napoles
                    Marvin Hagler
                    Sonny Liston

I guess all of these excellent fighters could be described as that. Napoles was forced out of his division to get a title shot and became an all-time great, Marquez was avoided by Hamed, Barrera, Morales in his prime for example.

                    There's tons.
