Now make up your mind .. is Skipper negotiating a deal for his company, with his company's money, or is Hearn spending Skipper's money for him?

You can't have it both ways.

For certain guys it would benefit them to fight on different platforms. Is Danny Jacobs complaining being advised by Al and NOT being under the "PBC Umbrella"? He's about to fight Canelo Alvarez. Would he if he stuck around "The Umbrella"? How is Charlo sticking around FOX / Showtime a good "Long Term" plan when his biggest money fights are currently on DAZN? If Wilder signs this deal it'll further confirm that these dudes under Al REALISTICALLY can make the moves they WANT to make. He's not their promoter.
You missed the forest through the trees. Al is still Jacobs advisor and Jacobs acknowledged in interviews that he consulted him in his move to Matchroom USA. Conflating Al Haymon the advisor and PBC can be sketchy.

When we see a DAZN fighter offer a PBC fighter a fight and it gets turned down, we'll have a conversation commiserate with your post. Until then the only fighters to get an offer from DAZN are Jacobs and GGG. Remember, Boo Boo doesn't have a "money" contract and doesn't have any money fights lined up.

lets not act surprised like we didn't know this all along

stuff like this SHOULD ABSOLUTELY be unacceptable to any boxing fan no matter which side of the fence you are on....wilders people have come up with AJs money and then accepted a UK offer(which couldn't meet wilders one demand of a 2018 fight)....wilders side is willing to work with them .....these guys want the whole thing and nothing less

and no one is surprised....DAZN needs a profitable fight like this, all to themselves, to recoup the money they are pissing away

if I'm wilder and he still believes he has opponents for 2 years I say "fugg it...continue paying aj 20 mil a fight for guys nobody cares about and well see how much you need the fight by then"...

stuff like this is plain unacceptable....theres plenty of money in this fight to go around and satisfy EVERYONE.....but these guys desperately need 100 percent of it or else theyre going to bleed money...SAD

Here's how desperate you are in this regard. In the article, Hearn acknowledges that his involvement is a roadblock (whether its his fault or not) and that the deal could possible get done since it won't be a deal between him and Finkel or him and Wilder. So, recognizing that DAZN is a broadcast outfit and not a promoter, seems fitting that they would just broker INDIVIDUAL deals with each fighter as Hearn indicates in the quoted language in my post.
But if an individual fighter has a long term contract with his promoter, which AJ has with Hearn, then DAZN can't broker a deal with that fighter without involving his promoter.

Hearn represents AJ at DAZN. Nobody can cut him out of any deal involving AJ. And as Hearn has given Skipper the go ahead to negotiate a deal involving a fight between AJ and Wilder, that means Eddie wants the fight to happen, so nobody should be accusing him of trying to block it.

Ok, so you're not even going to try and pretend to be a rational person any more. No point discussing it any further then.

I hope Wilder does sign with DAZN. Seems like the money they're offering him is too good to turn down.
