I could care less about ratings...Porter's performance on Saturday cemented him as the bottom of the 47 champs...PBC cannot be putting this guy in main events, limited talent and limited entertainment value.

All new TVs have had a digital tuner for a while now. You just have to buy an antenna for $10 to pick up your local channels. But you don't need a converter unless your TV is very old.

In his first real fight against a championship caliber opponent he knocked him down twice and outboxed him in what turned out to be a pretty good gut check bloody battle in which he had to dig deep. White America loved tommy Morrison loved Gerry cooney loved Darren Van Horn....and none of them were at the top of their divisions in terms of talent. White America will tune in because they see themselves in him, that’s why his ratings dominated the all time of PBC on FS1 on a Sunday at that. Prime time Friday night on free tv? Plant does no less than 3.5m and as much as 5-6m. If I’m wrong I’m wrong but I’m old enough to remember just how’s much white America will tune in for and get behind “one of their own”....
              Fair enough, I guess.

Still, would that thinking mean they hold off on the Benevidez fight for a bit? Plant fights the Subway dude, fights the Truax-Quillin winner, etc, while Benevidez fights this Saturday, fights Anthony Dirrell, fights Yidrim, etc, pushing that off a while longer?

Yea that was a couple years ago, none of these guys fight often enough to be staying in a "prime competing shape", he also lost to Kell Brook, who never really beat any other alleged "top tier". I just maintain he is below Spence/TC/KT, and is not a main event fighter. Porter is a titleist, not a world champion. That is hilarious. SP is just a beneficiary of this 4 belt era.
