Your point is legitimate. As usual, it's your motive that you're being called out on. You can tout ggg/Brook as a legitimate fight and try to shyte on Spence/Garcia.
All you've done here is expose your anti American racist agenda. Again.................Comment

I'm with the OP on this. I want to see Spence and Crawford and Thurman all mix it up. Next layer is Porter and Danny Garcia.
I like Mikey outpointing Spence in a 3-rounder. Sure. But in 12 rounds, Mikey takes a serious beating.
But whatever, man. I want to see who's the best WW on the planet. Get this fight out of the way and get to the real deal.Comment

GGG, Spence and Brook are basically the same size.
Garcia looks like a buffed gnome next to Spence. Huge difference.
Both Spence and Brook are the same size, both walk around the same weight as GGG, just that they dont dare to face same size/bigger opponents, they drain down to bully smaller dudes and now Spence bullies a tiny dude who fought at featherweight a couple years ago.
If this is somewhat competitive, what does that say about Spence?
This fight is a setup, its Haymons plan to turn Spence into a PPV fighter, he just paid Garcia a ton of money to take it, he'll either get knocked out or quits in the corner, most probably Robert Garcia will stop it.
Mikey gets a good payday, he will quit before he gets beaten up too much and move down to 135 or 140. Win Win situation for Garcia. if he was fighting Loma, theres a good chance he would get embarrassed, who would want to see him face Spence after that?Comment

Mikey has a good chance of winning here, if i'm to keep it 100 like a c-note.
People often exaggerate the significance of weight discrepancies out of ignorance of the sport. The reality is, how much a weight discrepancy affects a fight is mostly about the style matchup. In this case, Mikey is the better boxer and he is a complete fighter, and fundamentally great, Spence is going to have to work to get by his defense, and land anything of significance, and he is going to have to move, and focus defensively because Mikey comes to work in the ring, he sticks to the game plan and doesn't get rattled. Mikey will land on Spence because Spence will be aggressive, and Mikey will look to control the center of the ring from the opening bell. And a skilled boxer like Mikey can still control the center of the ring fighting off the back foot, if he has to.
Mikey doesn't show up for pay days, or roll over, or take nights off, or take camp lightly, or ignore his corner. Mikey comes to win, and Spence is going to have to literally stop him, and I don't see it happening. Mikey is too active, calculated, determined, and too skilled a counter puncher and body puncher to allow it to happen.
I'm heating up that red for those cheeks btw.

Two divisions sounds like a lot. (And Mikey has fought at 140 so it's really one division). Evenso, 135 to 147 is ONLY 12 lbs. Canelo fought Mayweather at 172lb vs 150, hardly any noise. Wilder fights guys 40 lbs heavier. Mikey and Spence aren't that far apart.i
Yeah I know .... that's why there are divisions, etc. Honestly 135 to 150 should be a division. Guys in these sizes get in streetfights all the time, and the better man wins, not necessarily the bigger guy.Comment

Basically this. Not sure why some UK fans are bringing up Khan or Brook. What’s more interesting is that Khan and Brook could size up to GGG and Canelo. Spence and Mikey are far more different in size disparities, but what makes this a legit boxing match is the skill level. People will say SRL and Duran were levels above, sure, collectively, but Garcia and Spence are legit P4P. Khan nor Brook were inferior than all these ñames mentioned. It's a legit fight and one of the best fights right now. At least Mikey isn't the bum of the month, unlike who GGG might fight next. Mikey is a junior welter champ who will be fighting a welter in Spence, not like Brook who came up two divisions. This thread is a diversion from that GGG thread.
War Mikey!
