What's your assessment of Hrgovic? They're moving him faster than Efe! Good or bad?

Filip was a top level amateur, which Efe wasn't, and he did a lot of sparring with top class pros, so it's understandable that he would be moved quicker.

They both just crushed Mansour, but I think it's safe to assume that Amir getting crushed by Hrgovic first is the reason why they put him in with Efe.

I saw that Filip signed with Matchroom in February! You think Eddie would put him in with Usyk in Chicago?

It would be an interesting matchup, but I think they will be looking to make a statement with Usyk's first fight at HW and it will probably be somebody more proven than Filip, though maybe not as dangerous as he could turn out to be.

Povetkin is dangerous but worth the risk because of the credit Usyk would get for beating him. Not so much Filip because of his inexperience.

If Efe is 30 - 0 and still fighting cans and Filip is going after a world title at 15 - 0 that would be very ironic!

Hrgovic is the new EuroCrush on NSB. I don't know will shake out as the best of the new crop of HW, but Efe is definitely a player..

He's still got some seasoning to do with constant stepping up of class of opponent, but you can't knock Ajagba's progression so far - especially for someone without an extensive amateur background.
Boxrec have him at 26 already, soon they need to be looking at getting him in with the gatekeepers like Helenius, Hammer or Chisora, etc.
Nathan Gorman, as a fellow prospect floating around the top 20 mark would be a great fight.

I like Ajagba, looks like a legit threat. Szpilka would be a great fight for him to get a respectable name on his KO list, but not really that big of a learning experience I think (3-4 rds tops and Szpilka's gone - he has no chin left, and even though he's going for the slick southpaw style, he always gets caught with something and Ajagba has legit power). Szpilka's crazy enough to go for the fight, I guess, but he may demand quite a bit of money for it.

I'd wait with Martin, he isn't as **** as people tend to make him out to be (it's his fault, though - you don't walk this Earf liek a Gawd and then fold after the first clean punch you take when defending your title, lol). He showed up against Kownacki and gave him a hell of a fight from which Kownacki learned *a lot* (as evidenced by the Washington fight). Definitely a fight to get made for Ajagba down the line, not quite right now though.

I'd like to see Ajagba against a guy who doesn't KO easily. Duhaupas and Wach come to mind; Wach may be a bit too early for now, though.

Not a bum, but a 46 year old who used to be a solid heavyweight. That's BS to call him a bum just because he's old and faded.
