Finally some sense here. Of course he doesn't want to fight on PPV here because no one would buy that shyte and then the extremely low numbers would significantly drop his leverage in negotiating his profits share from the fight against AJ (if it ever happens)

Seems absolutely right to me.

Wilder may have built up some interest from his Fury fight but Breazeale is a hard sell because, like a lot of Wilder's opponents until recently, he offers no credible threat. Hardcores are probably interested in the beef between these two but the public at large probably aren't interested in guessing the round that Breazeale gets knocked out in.

FOX or Showtime can't afford to pay him what ESPN and DAZN have offered him. So PBC was planning on sending this to Showtime PPV to help cover the costs. Well good luck selling a PPV when the fighter himself makes comments like this
