Again even if they came up with that money let’s say by showtime for example, Team Joshua made it clear they would prefer the fight in the UK. But we would never know that because these two teams didn’t meet to talk about the fight.

What we now know was AFTER, with Warren talking about the 50m and the 30m, and Lou confirming “Nothing wrong with shopping the fight to a british network when we are fighting a british guy”..

Well that British guy cannot be “Shopped” to any other british network. If know now that showtime are struggling for money. If they aren’t where is that 50m that they seem to be using Whyte and others? Can’t they use that money on Wilder? Charlo? Etc
BT Sport never put up any money. Why keep telling this lie?

Frank Warren helped Haymon/DiBella get a price for the UK rights so that they could sit down to discuss the UK rights with a concrete number in hand (Sky views the rights as being worth more than BT Sport, Haymon/DiBella sell the rights to Sky without issue; Sky offers less than BT Sport for the rights, AJ gets to buy the rights out of his guarantee, selling the rights to his preferred broadcaster).

    Not that complicated

And you're right, once Team AJ said they wanted the fight in the UK, it rendered the offer useless.
The moment BT gets involved made any offer from Team Wilder useless. Which made me now understand why they never wanted a meeting with Team Joshua. Because they knew once Team Joshua see that the money was coming from BT sport, they would be walking out of the door.

You can believe whatever suits your Wilder fangirling. I would go with words from Warren and Lou Di Bella. BT sport were putting up the 50 and the 30m. No network put that money up for another fighter that is signed exclusively to another network.

Some of you guys are either uneducated or brainwashed, Wilder isn’t signed exclusively to any network, so you can shop his name around and get the best deal..... like they are doing now.

Tyson Fury is signed EXCLUSIVELY to ESPN, so you can offer him 50m and 30m for two fights on DAZN but you would be wasting you time because he wouldn’t have been able to sign a contract like that.... knowing Fury has an exclusive contract with ESPN and DAZN offering him 50 and 30m shows they aren’t serious.

You keep saying that the money was coming from BT Sport. When did anyone say that the money in escrow was from BT Sport? Further, even if Team Wilder used BT Sport as a bank, why would it matter if Joshua could still fight on Sky by having Sky buy the broadcast rights from Dibella or from BT?

The money was coming from BT sport, that fact was confirmed by Warren and Lou. It doesn’t matter what spin you try to put on it. If you think BT sport were going to fund a british fight and not have the fight shown on BT sport then you must be a real ******. Again Fury is signed exclusively to ESPN... There is NO way showtime are going to make the Wilder rematch with him without showtime wanting the fight on showtime.

There was no attempt to spin. I've referenced things said by Dibella, Warren, and Hearn. You don't have to use a "if you think" statement. I told you what I think. Now, I'm asking you where or when did Dibella or Warren say that BT Sports was "funding" the fight. They both confirmed that BT helped Team Wilder develop the offer, specifically Warren used BT to help develop the projected money that would be available from selling the UK broadcast rights. I have yet to watch or hear an interview where either said BT Sports was "funding" the fight. I did watch an interview where Hearn said that they intended to "shop" the rights and that that was exactly what he would do if he were them.

Then when the time comes, they will purchase the UK broadcast rights at a premium cost. Looks like if they fight, it will happen in the US on DAZN or Showtime ppv. Kinda like what was proposed last year, but might carry a lesser guarantee.

It doesn’t matter happens in America with Joshua... in the UK legally he is exclusively on sky sports. No bidding, no shopping around etc He is exclusively on sky sport.

I understand that he is contractually bound to fight on Sky. However, that's HIS issue, not anyone else associated with the fight. As such, Sky will still have to pay for broadcast rights of the fight.
