Why would a cop walk up with his taser or pepper spray drawn? Those are intermediate compliance less lethal tools....if a cop clears a house, approaches a su****ious car occupied several times, etc with a less lethal weapon he or she should be sent to remedial training or fired.

recently in NYC a guy robbed a store with a fake gun cops were outside and fired like 50 times killed one of their own and wounded two more cops killed the guy with the gun. so they arrest the lookout guy and pin the murder of the cop and wounding of the other two. public not even allowed to know names of the cops that killed their own

This is a sad situation but...Pulling out a knife in a threatening manner on a cop isnt exactly the brightest move in the book cmon now. Not saying she deserved to be shot but comply with the police yes sir no sir keep your hands out of your pockets and you live to see another day its really THAT SIMPLE.

In light of all the controversial cases (Philado Castillo and many many others) where they are COMPLETELY compliant and still get shot, you have to be on the autism spectrum to still believe this kinda stuff.

When the Cheatham County Sheriff's Office arrived, the woman brandished the knife on a deputy who shot her, the TBI reports.

First of all, why'd she have a knife with her in an ambulance? Assuming they were taking her somewhere to get care.

Second, why did she show it to a deputy?
