Boxing is all about timing. Tyson's prime was 21-22. It says something that even post prison the only 2 fighters to beat him were Holyfield and Lewis. So basically a shot 50% of Tyson was the 3rd best HW in the world.

I don't think we saw his prime. We saw the best he got to. It was only fleeting.

He wasn't that far off. Its just that Holyfield was better than anybody he fought during his first title reign. Definitley better than Frank Bruno and an old as hell Larry Holmes.
