    I mean is that statement not true though? He's not fighting Andrade/Canelo/Jacobs/Charlo/Derevyanchenko next. So yeah, he will not be fighting one of the top MWs. Best case scenario is probably Sulecki.

      Even if that is the case he has a multi year contract and I think majority expect him to fight multiple of those during that period and probably at least one this year..

      I suspect he won’t fight a big name immediately because he’s had quite a bit of time out now and likely to get canelo later in the year.

        But that statement is only for his first fight of the deal no? Not like he was saying GGG won't fight an elite MW during the duration of his contract. Obviously he will.
