Parker is a guy that I never understood ranking so highly. He was thrown into the top ten because of a few "big wins" early in his career (primarily Frans Botha, who was the definition of old as ****, and just a name at that point; and Carlos Takam who everyone seems to beat now. Then he won the vacant WBO belt in a gift hometown decision against Andy Ruiz Jr. He's benefited from fantastic promoting and a weak era. I'd argue the first time he stepped up was against Anthony Joshua and although my stream was garbage, at no point did I ever feel Joshua was ever going to lose (and the fight was so damn boring, I have no intention of rewatching it if I'm wrong)

I had him losing to Hurd by one point.

All his other losses and draws were wins on my card.

            Even Molina?

And wouldn't say he's overrated at all. Fought Canelo even, out boxed P-Will easily, gave Trout the cleanest loss and he's fought some really good fighters, just fought a really good fighter in Castano and nearly pulled it off and almost beat a younger and much stronger in prime Hurd who may be the best at 154.

Lara has some flaws and makes some fights a lot closer than they should be but he is properly rated. Hell for anyone at 154.

              Yes, even Molina.

Lara was a damn good fighter. He's done at the top though.

Lara is a good fighter but he never at any time now or in the past would have a chance to beat GGG or last 12 rounds. Lara lovers need to watch his fight with crude, slow average plodder Angulo. Lara was knocked down twice and was well behind on points when very late in the fight he injured Angulo's eye to get a tko win. Let's not forget his draw with Vanes and Molina and this 15 fight newcomer who just held him to a draw. He is overrated by many.

I wouldn't say he is done at the top. Just fought two of the best at 154 in Castano/Hurd and more than held his own.

Still don't think any of the 154 pounders would have their way with him. Would have to work for a tough decision.

                    Yea maybe I'm underrating Castano.

I think PBC is going to throw him in more tough fights from here on out since his legs are basically gone making his fights more exciting haha.

Honestly, dude has been in a lot of tough fights or perceived tough fights going in. He just couldn't fight the Charlo's due to being with the same trainer. But aside from that he has pretty much fought all the top guys that he could have. Wouldn't expect nothing less going forward.
