    Not even close, lad.

For the record- only people who said Lara would beat Golovkin are Golovkin detractors, and they only said that because the fight didn't happen. If the fight did happen and Golovkin won (which he would have), those same people would say that Golovkin took an easy fight against a mismatched opponent.

that's true. GGG has a crazy amount of haters. They were all saying he was ducking Charlo haha and that Charlo would KO him, but they've gone very quiet on that since the Korobov fight LOL

Golovkin never fought anyone with Lara’s skill set and movement that he possessed a couple years ago l. If Lara was able to withstand Golovkins power you’d have to think he has a chance for the W or at least make it competitive. Golovkin has showed he isn’t the fleetest of foot and a fighter can exploit that aspect

Forget that in 2 of his 3 losses he was robbed and a case can be made he didn’t lose to Hurd or that he has a decent resume and willing to fight the best no questions . I guess he’s over rated because people think he’s still one of the best in the division at 35 and has been for what the last 7-8 years .

        Overrated Though
he was the man for years agaisnt ish smith, crippled rabbi yuri foreman, 40 year old midget from slovenia jan zveck (sp)

during the 4 years he held the title he fought absolutely nobody and was a joke of a champion, as soon as he fought a legit fighter, he lost. and just like typical lara, he immedately cries robbery.

Its the same story every time, the dude does nothing but 1-2 all night long and then cries robbery when he doenst do enough to get the decision, but of course he a slick cuban doe! so you get all the usual boxing hipsters trying to hype him, rigo & ortiz etc up.

Thumbs up for your sh.it opinion

I guess we should ignore that when he was fighting sub par competition he had already been absolutely robbed in the Williams fight , Took Angulos soul, Beat down Trout, Robbed against Canelo

For years He showed he was one if not the best in the division, You look like a fool saying otherwise

I know it pains you wilder fans but if we are talking overrated fighters Ortiz name will be mentioned at some point.
Has nothing to do with Wilder, it's exhausting however to have every thread about boxing have someone bring up Luis Ortiz and how they feel he's overrated.

"where do you rank Sugar Ray Leonard?"
"On the opposite end of the spectrum as Luis Ortiz! Lol!!"

                Not at all.

Everyone knows he beat Paul Williams. Some people had him beating Canelo, i thought it was probably a draw

I thought Hurd edged him with the knockdown but that was a near 35 year old Lara.

He's never had any decisive losses and should have a win over Williams on his record and could arguably a win over Canelo in the sense scoring it for Lara could be justified.

Lara is/was an incredible talent, and is the definition of a low reward with an incredibly high risk.

even when he held the strap, other champs were far more appealing matches. Why face Lara in a match where you will get schooled technically get a fraction of the purse when you can beat other champs?

Hurd was his only L in my book, and only due to the KD.

Lol! I see your point but my mentioning of Ortiz being overrated is relevant to the topic of this conversation.
