Paul Williams is one of my favourite ever fighters but Lara was robbed. Probably the worst decision I’ve ever seen

Perhaps you were just the proverbial straw on the camels back then. I'm glad you do see my point though.

Hell, I used to bash Povetkin more than ANYONE and I actually stopped once he signed to fight AJ because I knew that people would say I was just doing it for that reason.

And now I have to eventually stop bashing Pulev's boring ass

I guess we should ignore that when he was fighting sub par competition he had already been absolutely robbed in the Williams fight , Took Angulos soul, Beat down Trout, Robbed against Canelo

For years He showed he was one if not the best in the division, You look like a fool saying otherwise
Its not an opinion, i clearly struck a nerve with one of those hipsters i was reffering to, you said 'he was the man at 154 for years', when i have proved he fought nothing but bums for 4 years while he was champion, Hurd was the first legit guy he fought in many many years, and he lost. sorry for stating facts

I actually don’t mind Ortiz. A lot of people think Parker beats him which I’m shocked at. I just think for a man with no real achievements or wins of note he’s rated far too highly.

            Yeah good post as usual

Golden Boy tried to get Lara completely taken out of the picture at 154 when he really was a high risk and essentially a no name lowest reward possible.

they set him up to fight Angulo with a bunch of conditions to tilt it in Alfredo’s favour , canvas was super soft so he wouldn’t be able to move , put on a clause for only him where he could only gain a couple pounds after weigh in and I think a couple other conditions, backfired when Lara broke Angulos face and basically took his soul never was He the same after that fight.

You could say the same about GGG, he fought nothing but bums his whole title reign. When he finally fought top competition he wasn't so dominant. He look dominant against low level fighters so you could say GGG is the most over rated MW ever.

High risk low reward type of fighter. I find hard to believe that a lot of the sanctioning bodies don't rate him or rate him very low in their rankings. Parker is no world beater and Ortiz would beat him in my opinion, but how is that Parker and Ruiz were giving a shot at a vacant title and Ortiz wasn't. The WBA removed Ortiz from its rankings and as a mandatory for fighting Wilder and testing dirty but somehow Povetkin was installed as mandatory for Aj after he tested positive twice. All these so called top HWs don't want to fight him, Whyte, Povetkin, Miller, Parker or Pulev want nothing to do with him. Ortiz was the boogieman and hyped up when he was with GB and Hearn, but became overrated when he became a Haymon fighter.

You didn’t strike a nerve , I could care less that you have a sh.it opinion that you claim are Facts.

You have proved nothing with your facts , did he fight a Bunch of fighters way past prime some who got resurrected from the grave( Forman ,Zaveck ) yeah but also included Vanes and Smith when their scalps were still considered somewhat decent and Guashe who was a 2012 Olympian and his step up fight , Not great but more impressive then some fighters 3 year run.

But let’s not mention the previous 3 years when he was fighting the best guys in the division almost Everytime and no one at 154 was consistently fighting the best like he was

Your 4 years is more like 3 and probably done on purpose by Haymon to allow his young guns at 154 ( Charlos, Hurd , J-rocks ) to develop , get built up and become champs and be top guys in the division. You think if Lara fought Hurd when he wasn’t 35 and Hurd had no big fight experience say 2 years prior he wouldn’t have probably won with ease. Same goes with the Charlos. But then you’d cry and say he was fighting inexperienced no names for years and wouldn’t give him any credit

                  Lara has proved he was
Among the best at 154 for 7-8 years , no matter how what your facts state

Lara is not the most overrated, i think that is Jermall Charlo.

where is the part where i state opinion? he fought bums for years when he held the belt, fact. he lost when he fought someone who wasnt a bum, fact.

you are now moving the goalposts, first you claimed 'he was the man at 154 for years' so i called you out on it, and now you got upset and are claiming 'he was among the best'

Being the man implies that A) you are a champion and B) you are fighting the best and clearing out the division while you champion.

Lara never did that, and never got close to doing that.
