The clearest shots were the body jabs.

Fury went to heaven and back. He himself has admitted he was out cold. Any other referee would've waved that fight off. First time in boxing history that didn't happen.
Agreed. That's how I saw it as well especially early it's like they(fans) gave Wilder no credit at all for the body shots he was landing, but the judges did so I guess that's all that matters..

      Compubox confirmed this also: https://www.boxingscene.com/deontay-...-stats--134262
I use to rely on punch stats too but after what's been going on with all these fighters landing more punches and still coming up with a L, I've come to realize you just have to judge the fight round by round vs by the punch stats. Especially if the punch stats are close.

It would be even less likely. If they had gone ahead with a grand theft instead of a simple theft, Fury would be more likely to want to avenge a loss than a draw. No way would Fury risk fighting Wilder again if he already had that win, too dangerous.

Im not relying on punch stats, like I said I watched the fight and had fury clearly winning, the link was to back up what I already believed. Fury was landing cleaner, more often.

You score a fight after each round you enter your score not after the fight. 2 10/8 rounds Wilder then gift him 2- 10/9. It’s 8-4 Fury some have 10-2. Math doesn’t add up fury wins

If fury won that many rounds then wilder should be easy work. Fight the rematch win the title increase your market value, if you “get robbed” again you still increase your market value.....but you let 2 deadlines pass while your holding the contract and then run to another promoter to save face....makes you look like a coward.

Punch stats are also subjective, I've also watched fights in slow mo and come to the conclusion that often times those stats are off sometimes waay off.

A lot of people watched the fight, including me and I had it just like the ref, A Draw due to the knock downs. Which makes the total punch stats irrelevant in a sense because they were so close in punches landed. I don't think Wilder got credit for some of the punches he did land early in the fight either.

“People compared it to Tyson-Douglas. Tyson Douglas was a 14 second count. It’s the referees count. The rule is not 10 seconds, the rule is a 10 count and every referees count is different." - Paulie Malignaggi

It was a long count, but Fury did enough to win the fight! However, the rematch had nothing to do with Fury being robbed! It was the fact that he got dropped twice, and he knows there's a real possibility of being KO'd again! Like Bread said, Fury has to be perfect for 12 rounds. Wilder only has to be perfect for one second! The odds favor Wilder!

Can't wait to see who Fury fights, and where! If he comes back to the states, then I know he's FOS! If he thinks he can't get a fair shake over here, then he'll stay over there!

Paulie meant if fury didn't get robbed and was the belt holder now there would be a automatic rematch (because of the contract)

Fury parker next I recon ...

If that was true a big puncher would be the favourite in every fight. Absolute garbage.
