That’s true. Canelo has always seeked out the best opponent just as his promoter Oscar did. Mad respect to Canelo for that.
You foos who keep talking about the bad meat he ate. Get over it seriously. It was some bullsht to lose weight, big deal. What about all the other great fighters who has been caught for steroids?
What’s important is that Canelo fought clean in the GG rematch and won. How many of you predicted that outcome?

Look at you backtracking right away. You basically said people discredit Canelo because they are jealous he has money, cars, houses and whatnot LOLYour response has several holes in it, but I do give you an E for effort. First of all, "hominum" should be spelled hominem. Hominem refers to the individual person, meaning a personal attack on a specific individual. I was referring to the whole group of dim bulbs. Perhaps Ad Caterva would be more appropriate. As for "insecure canelo fans," I suspect that some are and some aren't, but my state of mind or anyone else's is beside the point and totally irrelevant to the point I made. A person's lifestyle, wealth, fame and such has a lot to do with reputation. Just ask Mayweather and other fighters who promote their brand based on those very qualities.

I wouldn't say he has always sought the biggest challenges. He kind of took a page from Floyd's book since losing to him...marinating fights, catch-weights, and gift decisions are raising his stock. I'm still not sure who to blame for him not fighting either of the Charlo brothers at 154 or Andrade. Credit to him for fighting Jacobs though.Comment

My point exactly! People tried to denigrate and discredit Mayweather and other athletes because of their money cars, houses and what not. Fact is lot's of folks don't like Canelo because he does not conform to their expectations of a Mexican or Mexican fighter and is now very rich. He marches to the beat of a different drummer, as they say, but even these haters add to the equation that makes him a very wealthy young man.
Unless someone is as insecure as our current president, there is nothing wrong with "backtracking" when someone points out a flaw in your thinking, but I don't think that is the case in this instance.Comment
