I really don't think Canelo will fight Andrade this year to be honest.. If Canelo beats Jacob's then I can see Canelo-Triple g 3 happening in September.... DAZN wants that Canelo-Triple g money and Andrade is still young so they can make him wait till next May...

That's the big question... Triple g needs to start making some announcements and get back in training if he wants to fight Canelo in September..
Now Lemiux in September and Triple g in December is also a possibility...
And another possibility and one that I don't like but it can certainly happen is a Canelo-Jacob's rematch in September if Jacob's beats Canelo in May....
Jacob's is a great fighter himself and it can happen...
The middleweight division is in a great position and too many great fights to be made. Time will tell to see what actually happens...

Agreed. With the top line guys fighting just twice a year I am more than fine (and actually prefer) if someone goes two killers and one lower level guy a year.

I know...I really wonder what GGG thinks his fight future is. I wonder if the fire is still there for GGG. If you are just going through the motions, well that's not a good thing to be doing in boxing.

I'd like to see him face Andrade. I think whoever he faces it will say what his confidence level is. A low tier guy - he is just waiting for the Canelo 3 pay day. And that would be unfortunate. I hope he still has a few good/great fights left and then retires healthy. He and his team have definitely taken a while to sort everything out though so it's hard to say what he is thinking.

Definitely no complaints from me if Canelo fights Lemiux in December in Mexico. It would be a brutal war with Canelo tagging Lemiux all night for however long it lasts... As long as Canelo doesn't get caught he'll stop Lemiux I think....
I think it Canelo beats Jacob's (which isn't a sure thing) and if Triple g wins his DAZN debut fight against whoever they put in front of him then Canelo-Triple g 3 will definitely happen in September.... Canelo and Triple g will always make for a great fight no matter what!

Yeah I would give Lemieux a puncher's chance against Canelo but honestly I think Canelo makes easier work of Lemieux than GGG did. Canelo is just too quick yet still hits really hard with those combos.

I am really interested to see what happens in the Jacobs Canelo fight. Canelo's combo of speed, skill and punch resistance just makes him a tough matchup for anyone at or around MW right now. I think he looks so energized after those GGG fights, he looks like he is on a mission to make his legacy.

Where would they do it in Mexico? I just realized Azteca is way above sea level so that would mess with the boxers' stamina and breathing so I am guessing they wouldn't do it there unfortunately. Having a big bout there would honestly be bad ass though.

Same way I see it! Plus David Lemiux always has a puncher's chance so Canelo-Lemiux should be a fun fight to watch if it happens....
