Remember few months ago when they took the Povetkin fight it was fight Breazeale for $5M on DAZN and AJ on April 13th in UK for $15M and I bet you were singing this same tune

For those who weren’t aware - when Shelly is talking I. The interview about not responding he actually isn’t talking about the latest offer.

He is talking about in mid December and a few key points to note:

1) his responses/trying to contact Eddie was while matchroom were staging fight events eg weigh in
2) at that point Shelly will have expected wilder vs fury2 to be a priority
3) the offer of 60/40 with a 15 mil guarantee and a guaranteed minimum 50/50 rematch if wilder won; was not yet on the table

So when all that is consideeed I wonder why Shelly was misleading the public because unless you realise above you could assume it was based on a more recent period. It just gives me more concern that it is in fact ego within the wilder camp ( or wilder himself) which will stop this fight happening

Maybe I missed it but no where in there did I hear Finkel say he got a 15 mil offer for 1st ight and 60-40 for AJ.I think unless I missed it its a bunch of BS he says Hearn sent him an offer AND Hearn is saying its for that.If that's the case then it means NOTHING.Hearn is catching up to Arum as far as saying one thing one day and completely different the next.

As Hearn says, why not even just talk? If you don't like the offer, at least communicate and see if you can improve it.

If it's true that the offer is 60/40 for an AJ fight with AJ and 15 million for an interim fight, i'd say it's a very fair starting point for negotiations and shouldn't be ignored. Some might argue that the offer is more than fair to start with.

But where does Finkel say that?He says he got an offer buts its Hearn saying that's what its for.
