Where do fans get off thinking they know the inner workings of boxing better than the fighters? A man who has been champion for four years, fought under Golden Boy before that, has been on Showtime, NBC, FOX and fought in the UK might know a little something.

You don’t become a free agent just to sign a deal that would tie you in potentially for years. Mikey Garcia sat out for two years trying to get out of that. And Wilder agreed to have his contract bought out just so he could do the same. The amount of money you get under a promoter can be murky because it’s tied to so many things. Worse are the fight options they place on everything.

Some guys value their freedom and those guys make more money than what’s reported. Wilder isn’t going to give that up.
Boxing has also shown boxers underpaid due to loyalty

    The case is clear

Same as Pac-Man, I support Pac-Man but I always said he should have left arum after the clottey fight as you can see he was being milked

The biggest stars are those who left and paved their own destiny

Nobody is asking wilder to sign a long term deal

Don’t trust an advisor who is looking after his own pockets and the facts are clear in this one

He can get a team together to look at the contract

A three fight deal can earn wilder 100m with dazn, one breaz and two with Joshua

Wilder already lost out on double what he made for fury, he needs to wake up but sadly I see it happening too late just like with manny

This isn’t about supporting pbc blindly like you but look at the boxer, they are more important

Sadly I see your agenda and this will fall on deaf earliers, your history as a troll tells us this

YES...eddie will pay wilder big bucks for a so so fight...but he now has wilder locked up with options on him....now eddie has all of AJ/wilder to himself....hes willing to overpay wilder for his first fight knowing hes going to make it up later with aj/wilder owning the whole thing...of course hes willing to pay 8-10 mil for a wilder interim fight.....he cant lose unless wilder gets upset

eddie wont offer that 15 mil though for a one off wilder/brezeale on DAZN without options on wilder

wilder isnt gonna go for it and hes loyal to espinoza and haymon who have been loyal to him and invested in him

this is like when golovkin wanted to fight chavez years ago....arum made two offers to chavez...one if he just took the fight with no extension and another offer that was higher if he agreed to a TR extension....

So what was all that "IM A FREE AGENT" or "IM NOT TIED DOWN TO ONE NETWORK" and the "I CAN FIGHT WHERE I WANT WITH WHO I WANT" ending in "HAHAHA lOOK AT THEM BACKED INTO CORNERS".

Its great to brag about all that then refuse to leave the network and put yourself in the exact same position they are but unlike Joshua and Fury getting huge Network deals out of it Wilders doing it for free? No wonder he wants 50-50.

It is a great offer and Hearn has his door open for negotiation. Hes going to desperately want it on DAZN but he just wants the chance to try make this fight happen. Deontay Wilder just sat there ignoring everything with his hand out demanding 50-50 isnt getting anything done.

Imo I don't believe that PBC fighter's are free agents. Haymon will have in their contracts that they have to fight on Showtime and or Fox.

Finkle has no say at all, its all up to Haymon.

          Wrong.

PBC has no fighters under actual contracts. The "PBC" fighters have managerial contracts with Haymon Sports, which means that Haymon has the final say about everything. "PBC" is just a television show.

            PBC is basically Haymon.

Why are you fools so concerned with Wilder financials. Gossiping like a bunch of females. Whyte got paid 1M for Parker fight nobody getting paid like that from Hearn besides Joshua

What huge network deal did Fury get? His networth is the same as Wilders

WTF is up with this obsession with Wilder's Purse, as if any of you will get a % of it or something

IF Wilder or any PBC wasn't happy with what they "Really Make" then they would be making the Jump to DAZN since they're all technically Network Free Agents. None of them are being held hostage.

I think a lot of this is Eddie Hearn trying to gauge just how much some of these guys are really making since he has failed miserably at signing any of them and he just can't understand WHY! So now he is running around claiming they're (PBC Fighters) "Brainwashed"

Its only Joshua we are talking about. If the money is so not important to Wilder he should stop hiding behind a 50-50 split and try doing some negotiations. We dont care about the money but the fighters clearly do and it seems to be an issue.

Why cant Wilder just accept being the B side. It may sting his pride but it cant be everybody and on this occasion it cant be Wilder. Once thats out of the way this fight may happen. If Wilder isnt scared.

That $15M for Breazeale or one of the other 2 guys sounds f#cking great, but the problem is the Joshua fight would be next & I've not heard what Wilder would make for that fight. So if Hearn is overpaying Wilder to screw him on the Joshua fight it doesn't make any sense.

And personnally with the bad faith (I feel) history with this Wilder/Hearn sh^t I kinda feel like a one fight deal for Joshua with rematch terms in place if needed is what Hearn should really be offering right now.

Or if there is a longer term deal it should be done via DAZN not Hearn since that relationship has been volatile.

And I have zero faith in Bob offering Wilder the money to make the Wilder vs Fury II fight. Bob is a known tightwad & I'm sure he's pissed the media keep saying he's paying Fury $100M or $20M per fight. There is no f#cking way he's paying Fury that much.
