it blows my mind that people dont stop to think about this

YES...eddie will pay wilder big bucks for a so so fight...but he now has wilder locked up with options on him....now eddie has all of AJ/wilder to himself....hes willing to overpay wilder for his first fight knowing hes going to make it up later with aj/wilder owning the whole thing...of course hes willing to pay 8-10 mil for a wilder interim fight.....he cant lose unless wilder gets upset

eddie wont offer that 15 mil though for a one off wilder/brezeale on DAZN without options on wilder

wilder isnt gonna go for it and hes loyal to espinoza and haymon who have been loyal to him and invested in him

this is like when golovkin wanted to fight chavez years ago....arum made two offers to chavez...one if he just took the fight with no extension and another offer that was higher if he agreed to a TR extension....

      It’s a 3 fight deal

15m for breazele and then 45-55 for Joshua fight and a rematch clause too

      What’s wrong with that ?

Wilder is being hustled by people not looking after him

Floyd paved the way and you all supported a boxer looking after himself, the boxer is the most important person, not an advisor who is looking out for himself

Showtime needs to match hearns offer but they can’t, wilder needs to hire his own team that look after wilders pockets not their own

Wilder more than likely has a contract with Showtime, therefore even if he wants to sign with Hearn/DAZN he won't be able to.

Showtime will have to put the fight on PPV to try and make Wilder the money he will demand.

Wilder has something against the number 15, he associates it with the words crack head money, so that'll never work. You have to go with like 14.5 or 16 in that general area to entice him .

Wilder is signed to Haymon's PBC franchise who is with Showtime/Fox. For Wilder to go to DAZN Haymon will have to Ok the deal. Which will be a bad look for Haymon with Showtime and Fox.

Imo I don't believe that PBC fighter's are free agents. Haymon will have in their contracts that they have to fight on Showtime and or Fox.

Finkle has no say at all, its all up to Haymon.

Wilder fans thank it's a better deal to make 3 million next fight then another 12 million against Fury in a rematch rather than make 15 and 25 on DAZN. If Wilder doesn't take that deal, he's a dummy, plain and simple. Fk being loyal to PBC or Showtime, it's about maximizing your potential income while you have the chance.

He will take less money and stay on showtime and say its not about the money it is about loyalty and its all about repaying their faith in him with his faith in them. And there is nothing wrong with that. You dont have to always take one route to an end goal just because that route provides the most money. Money isnt everything and its not like he is struggling to pay the bills.

But in his very next breath it will be 50-50 or no fight Joshua. Joshua ducked 50 million because he didnt want to fight in the USA and wanted to fight in the UK for less money.

Not Wilder fans. Wilder think it’s a better deal.

Where do fans get off thinking they know the inner workings of boxing better than the fighters? A man who has been champion for four years, fought under Golden Boy before that, has been on Showtime, NBC, FOX and fought in the UK might know a little something.

You don’t become a free agent just to sign a deal that would tie you in potentially for years. Mikey Garcia sat out for two years trying to get out of that. And Wilder agreed to have his contract bought out just so he could do the same. The amount of money you get under a promoter can be murky because it’s tied to so many things. Worse are the fight options they place on everything.

Some guys value their freedom and those guys make more money than what’s reported. Wilder isn’t going to give that up.

The great thing about the offer that am reading Hearn putting forward to Wilder, is that there is NO options on him. He fights the interim fight for 15m and he gets the two Joshua fight like he wanted. I know the interim fight would have to be on DAZN but what about the two Joshua fights? Showtime? DAZN?
