Same as yours 115 - 113... think the swings were 8 and 9 for me, at least that's where I differ from the Scene's scorecard. That said either or both could be Lara's if you wanted, depends what you're looking for.

Still, good fight... I was hoping for more from Brian, but even a slightly faded Lara is still a handful for anyone and represented a big step up both in quality and in the magnitude of the event. I can see Castano as competitive with the best in the division and he should be in some really good fights, but I don't think he'll ever seperate himself going forward. Honestly with his stature I have to wonder if he might not be better at 147, although 29 is not an age where guys should usually be thinking about moving down.

I gave Lara from the sixth to the ninth
That’s exactly when Castano stopped going to the body and began following instead of cutting the ring off
And I also thought Castano would be relentless throughout the fight
His corner was no fughin help either
That just blows my mind , they get to see what’s working or not and I didn’t think they said enough untill the later rounds
      Oh well chit happens

Lara sure ain't no Mayweather or Pernell Whitaker is he. Cubans are better amateur than professional fighters, in terms of what they accomplish.

It was a very close fight I thought Castanos won his shots were a lot more cleaner than Lara and he landed more.

Lara has never been a complete fighter to me.He can't throw a left or right hook to save his life.Nor does he know how to work the body.Jab,jab, straight left.Jab,jab, straight left. That's pretty much all he does.If he knew how to throw hooks to the head and body he would be a much better and more successful fighter. He also needs more head movement. His legs are his primary form of defense when those go he is going to be really vulnerable. If I were him I would leave Ronnie Shields and use Errol Spence trainer. And you said it right he aint Pernell Whitaker or Mayweather.
