Was I right in my thinking Hammer would somewhat expose Ortiz? I woke up this morning UK time surprised to see how wide the cards were in Ortiz's favour.

No one else wanted to fight him, though *shrugs*

He's a year older and was pummeled by the hardest puncher in boxing.

I mean.. for the so called “boogeyman” that’s quite pathetic.
Which makes it even more pathetic that none of the other dudes in the HW division would fight him for the past 4 years.

this same Ortiz that couldn't KO hammer and was eating plenty of shots himself,, common, Joyce stamina might make the difference in the later rounds and mop Ortiz up.

Hammer didn't come to win. He came in out of shape and outweighed Luis Ortiz by more than 20 pounds. Just so he can collect an easy paycheck.

He would only land the occasional counter right hand as King Kong came forward. For the most part, he spent a majority of his time on the laying ropes resting while attempting to set traps for Ortiz.

However, make no mistake about it, even though there may not have been a knockout King Kong still whopped that ass though.

Ortiz keeps his chin tucked in tight. He has a very good chin. By any chance was "King Kong" Luis Ortiz ever hurt by any Hammer's counters? Unlikely; Ortiz would work even harder in his preparation for Joyce.

Him and Joyce would be a great clash.

A real boxingscene special where one side will tell the other they DKSAB.

Heavies are different. They’re abnormal. Joyce is abnormal. He’s the size of a Ford Galaxy. He’s strong and he doesn’t get tired.

                  Ortiz is skilful, powerful,....and old.

What a recipe for disaster? If Joyce has the courage to attempt to walk Ortiz down like that, then he would end up with a broken jaw or worse; Having the entire left side of his face hanging off from eating so many counters. This Christian Hammer cat was ranked what; the 115th challenger in the world? No wonder Ortiz performance was so uneven and lackluster. I seriously doubt if he even trained for this fight

Yes, without a doubt he is a skilled boxer but anyone who can take a punch or two or has the boxing skills to get out of the way, easily takes Ortiz into later rounds where he is very vulnerable.

Ortiz vs Usyk would be a great first fight and can easily see a late stoppage for Usyk.

Certainly, Ortiz is not the boogeyman, not even close... he is however a fairly talented boxer who is unfortunately about 20 years too old.
Ortiz looked as if he didn't train that hard. The guy was laying back on the ropes attempting set traps for Luis so his trainers told him to coast. Hammer didn't come to win. he came to last the distance in order to collect an easy payday. If not, then he would have tried even harder to win. All he did was land a few solid right hand counters but as we all know that Ortiz can take one Hell of a punch.
