Wilder-Ortiz was more exciting than Wilder-Fury so this is the more compelling rematch. War King Kong!

Don't get all the hate for Wilder.
He tried to fight prime Povetkin, Ruskie was popped for PED's.
He tried to fight Joshua, called his bluff and offered 50 million. Blatant duck by Joshua/Hearn
He tried to rematch with Fury. Fight was all but signed, sealed, delivered, then at the last minute blatant duck by Fury/Arum/Espn

When dudes have actually stepped up and wanted to fight him (Ortiz I, Fury I) the fights were negotiated like butta, took place without a hitch, and were barnburners. What more can the man do????

Great point but all the fanboys will still come up with some BS crap. This guy just fought the 2 guys ANY manager would avoid if they were being honest while trying to get huge payday vs AJ.And lets not forget he had ALREADY signed to fight Ortiz until he tested dirty. He had the PERFECT excuse to avoid the guy NO ONE wanted to fight. But he goes and signs to fight him again(both nonmandatory). Then fights Fury who gives him his toughest fight and it ends in a draw.So now he could have bypassed him(he would have gotten killed in press/here)but whats he do?He did EVERTHING he could do to fight him again.Yea that sounds like a ducker smdh.If every boxer acted like that our sport would be in a MUCH better place.

In addition, The Fury rematch has already been ruled out. He is not going over to ESPN to defend his title against Tyson Fury.

If Fury wants the rematch, then he will do so the champion's Deontay Wilder's terms but he won't. Which means he doesn't really want the fight.

Lastly, Deontay Wilder's potentially next four opponents are probably Breazeale, Kownacki, Whyte and Ortiz.
Just lol @ poor lost souls like this who thinks an AJ/Wilder fight means anything, unless either one of them has beaten Fury both decisively, and officially.

Moreover, Joshua and Matchroom Sport, if they really serious and sincere about wanting this fight, then they must be willing to bend and to bend some more in order to satisfy Deontay Wilder and make the fight happen or there won't be a fight. The "Bronze Bomber" has dug in his heels and it's just a battle of wills now.

Like I said; Wilder is a born rebel and a loner who doesn't give a good damn what others may think or care about him or his career moves.
Perhaps you're right. Ultimately he has that last belt. And due to the dearth of talent in the division it seems unlikely that Wilder is going to lose his grip on the belt any time soon. So it could be that he gets his 50% after all. I don't really agree with that standpoint, but he is his own man, as you say

Lmao.. I thought the first fight was a GGG victory.. but the second looked more like a draw.. I give Canelo respect simply because he fought Lara... he lost.. in my opinion.. but he still fought him.. so he gets all my respect.. now he's taking on Jacobs.. wow.. gotta respect Canelo... I also think Trout did enough for the draw atleast.. but hey.. its all good.

Had a loss in family and some heath issues but the news of my death has been greatly exaggerated lol.Good to see your still on here fighting the good fight.Take care and enjoy fights tonight. Not sure your interested but Draftkings just started a FREE Pick Um almost the exact thing as on here only you also pick total punches. They are giving the winner seats(maybe air, hotel) to all of Showtime's 2020 fights plus I believe some other stuff.

Boy almost the exact way I feel.Had GGG winning a close BUT CLEAR dec in 1st fight and 2nd a draw. Also had him losing to Lara by 2 but no prob with dec it was a very close fight(Canelo's body punching)I did have him beating Trout but just by 1(the KD)and yea I really respected him for fighting Trout and Lara who most would avoid if they could(and he could). And now Jacobs was pretty surprised he took that fight.Im not a HUGE fan of Canelo partly because the PED issue and his "luck"with judges(one judge even had him even with May which was not close and even Canelo will admit that). But the kid's got ba lls when it comes to the negotiating table where so many other's fall short.I look forward to talking boxing with you in the future seems we are like minded.Have a great day.

I wouldn't be mad at seeing that fight again. He's more deserving than Breazeale off his performance in the first fight. I think Breazeale has the potential to be fun as f#ck doe too. So either or guy I wouldn't hate seeing next with how things have shaken out.
