Not people, Just Deontay Wilder fans. But thats just what Wilder fans do. Only a few months ago Fury was a brave true fighter, this that and the other, everything Anthony Joshua isnt. But now hes the scum of the earth. These goons are just too emotional and unrealistic and haters and liars. I think most of the rest of American Boxing fans are getting more and more embarrassed about how they conduct themselves.
Why do people like to say fury was “ko’d“ by wilder?

Fury was knocked out cold. It was a KO. Unusual turn of events, afterward, sure, but it was still a KO.
If you don't believe me, take Tyson Fury's words and actions for it:
He admitted he was knocked out cold.
He ran away from Wilder.
He says he's considering rematching Seferi.Comment

Last I saw was fury got up, wasn’t wobbly at all and hurt wilder forcing him to hang on for the remainder of the round instead of trying to close it out like he wanted to.
Wilder gets badly rocked by Ortiz, hangs on to survive the round and staggers back to his corner...nothing but praise. Fury gets dropped, gets up completely clear and finishes the round strong with wilder hanging on...”he was knocked out doe”.Comment

Fury was put in a coma for a few seconds and got up winning the rest of the round.
Some say that the count was too long. I thought it was an amazing part of the fight and for boxing.Comment

I think cuz he was out for some period of time (probably got woke back up by his head hitting the canvas like often can happen) from Fury's own recollection of events. It certainly seemed like he was gone & hurt worse then he'd been in any of his previous knockdowns. So while its probably technically right Tyson did get up so wasn't KO'd KO'd. He just had his lights turned out for a few milliseconds most likely.Comment

And that can often happen, this is something that happens?(knocked out nad wake up upon hitting head off canvas). First i've heard of it.Last edited by SplitSecond; 03-01-2019, 12:43 PM.Comment

Never out, you can see how he goes down he was never out, he lay there moving his knee side to side having a "**** me" moment. But never out.
Nah, he was wobbly definitely, but he never "leaned" on the ref, he put his hands on him to show him he was good(pretending he was good), cognizant, happy etc, same reason he jogged a little afterwards.
I think most refs wouldnt have stopped it. I've seen it too many times where aslong as the fighter is giving cues to the ref that he's fine and plans to get up a ref will let them even if they push it by getting up at nine, some refs will hold off on just calling ten also if they see the fighter just miscalculated the counts pace/just barely over it, but it's usually followed by a look like "cutting it close there". Fury was clear eyed and looking at the ref from the beggining and he got up a nine.
There was no controversy. Most refs wouldnt have stopped it at all.
jack rees immedialtey brushed fury's hands away. and we have a vastly different definition of clear eyed
are you american or british? how much british boxing do you watch? british refs stop fights for a hell of a lot less than that.
just f#cking look at this dude. clear eyed? most refs wouldn't have stopped it? do you know more than paulie malignaggi, the best expert commentator in all of boxing right now? get the fug out of here, please!
