Yeah, sure. It has nothing to do with the fact he will make more money w/o fighting a high risk fight. Then, the Wilder fight will be bigger and make more money for both of them.

Nope. He would have made more money fighting Wilder BEFORE signing the ESPN deal, if he REALLY believed he could beat Wilder in the rematch.

How is the fight gonna be bigger if they wait? The average casual fan only knows about Fury because of the Wilder fight. And even though Fury has a big personality. His style is gonna be boring as hell to the average casual fan. So how exactly is Fury gonna build up this new fan base to generate all this extra revenue?

Not to mention he can only fight on espn+ because of guarantee which only has 3mil subscribers unless they want to take a lost on revenue and put on regular espn

what a dumb argument. Wilder got schooled for 11.5 rounds and then Fury took that KD like a champ, got back up and went back to schooling. All of that happened after god knows how much time on ******* and alcohol and 2 fights with uber drivers.

Whatever!! If I'm Wilder at this point I would be more interested in signing a lucrative contract like Fury and AJ. I mean seriously those guys are getting big money I'd be looking at Haymon and Finkel like "So when are yall going to sign me to a $80 million contract wtf??!!" And I'd say it exactly like that lol

The fight was almost signed. It was right there, we were so close to seeing it.

But then The Cancer stuck his nose in.

ESPN deal creates zero obstacle for the fight. For the weasel making money maybe but not for the fight. Call the bid already and the winner organizes the fight. Or vacate a title you dosser.

No one knows how much that contract would be worth if Fury doesn't fight both Wilder and Joshua. Not sure why the Duboef statement that the contract includes those fights is getting ignored when people talk about this big money that Fury was going to get.

If you ask me, the TR/ESPN pact almost guarantees he doesn't fight Joshua since that fight only makes ****** money (an amount enough to make ESPN consider working with DAZN) if Fury has the WBC strap.
