Better resume. Bernard Hopkins or Roy Jones Jr?

Now that both of their careers have OFFICIALLY come to an end, who would you say has the better resume of the two?

i'd say that they are comparable. two incredible resumes. hopkins has record breaking longevity. he was a world championship caliber fighter until he was 50. that has never been done. roy had longevity for all of the wrong reasons. but when he was at his best he was about as good as anbody who has done it since ray leonard. wins, and really, shutouts, of prime hopkins and prime toney. victories for titles all the way up to HW. that's only been done a handful of times in the history of the sport, and often in bygone eras where the HW were not this giant.

Hopkins had the better resume. Doesn't mean he was the better fighter of course but his wins after the age of 40 over Tarver, Wright, Pavlik and Pascal put him over Jones resume wise.

I would favor Jones. Wins over Toney, Reggie Johnson, McCallum, Virgil Hill, Griffin, Tarver, Ruiz, Castro, Harding, Lucas, and a few good B-level contenders as well.

Jones was the better fighter and won the fight when it counted. Hopkins' longevity closed the gap though but not sure if quite enough.

Hopkins did better with Tarver head to head and Johnson but Johnson barely counts for Jones and he was a far better fight then than he was vs. Hopkins. Jones got Toney which was a better win than anything Hopkins did. Trinidad was Hopkins' best win and I'd say that would probably be better than anything else Jones did. Jones' beating Hill, Johnson, Ruiz, Griffin and even an old McCallum are better than Hopkins wins over Fishnets, Wright, Pavlik, Holmes, Joppy for example.

Like I said it's close on resume. Hopkins' was legit undisputed at 160 whereas Jones unfairly got the WBA and IBF belts and never fought the guy who was clear #1 when he got to the division. Now Jones would have beaten Michalczewski, but he didn't. That was Jones' 3rd weight class after being the clear #1 at 160 and 168 before vacating each. Jones was the better overall talent and won when it counted so he gets the edge IMO.

A resume also includes achievements. I'd say Roy's are more impressive. If you're just comparing opposition it's not easy to split them. Both great, great fighters.
