I think if Canelo can get a middleweight belt at a topweight of 156...I think he can get Kovs LH belt at 164 with his 10 pound rehydration clause. KOV comes in at 173 and falls asleep around round 4.

I know but there is a sadistic part of me that wants someone like Beterbiev to be in the opposite corner of Canelo.

I'd literally get my stop watch out and count how long Beterbiev would take to batter Canelo into submission.

Kovalev would beat the hell out of Canelo. I don't care how old Kovalev is, weight classes matter.

It would be at 169 with a small re-hydration clause and questionable judges and referee and Canelo would be roided to the gills no doubt.

I'm not even a GGG fan. I am indifferent towards him and dislike his fans. Canelo fans are insane nutthuggers though and you're blind if you don't think things have always been in his favor.

The general consensus is that he's been the benefactor of at least three fights the majority felt he didn't win and he factually was gifted a bogus WBC title at 154 despite not making the weight HE requested the fight be at in addition to him slapping a dumb ass re-hydration clause on Jacobs just as he did when he fought for that interim secondary title vs. that bum in his last fight.

Is this one of those things fighters say when they are promoting another fight?

To me he chose to challenge himself at such a young age and is still doing so now so to me if he retires with 2-3 losses he still can be greater legacy wise than Floyd. Legacy not skill

                    Ok i'll bite.

                    What 3 fights?

Don't say Lara or Cotto or Trout or GGG2. Unless you want me to call you a ****** ass then go ahead.

He clearly won all of those.

True, if he goes to 168, which he already did, then 175, that would be mind boggling.

Look at all the fighters in today's age.

Who else right now, is thinking and daring to be as great as Canelo?

                      WHO??
