Team Wilder only have themselves to blame!

Wilder is at fault that Fury signed with TR and Bob is pulling the usual bullish-t? Come on dude that is ******ed. This is all on Fury and his team.If Haymon's judges hadn't robbed Fury of a clear W, then he would no doubt be getting his rematch next.
Fury isn't ducking Wilder, he just wants things on a level playing field. 50/50 is no good if the judges will rob you.
As a boxing fan, i'm disappointed the rematch isn't happening straight away. I think the money men in America want to keep Joshua-Wilder-Fury apart for a while to generate more interest/money in the future. It sucks, but it is what it is.Comment

Not at all. Why should the winner give the loser a rematch and still expect the loser to call the shots?
Wilder had a rematch clause in his contract. If Haymon hadn't robbed Fury, the rematch would be happening and Tyson wouldn't have a choice in the matter.

This thread is such a apologetic pile of sh.it. You can’t paint or spin Fury and turn these moves into a positive no matter how hard you try . Far to many people on here are giving Fury a pass
Let’s set the record straight Fury wasn’t Robbed. Tyson was up on the cards by the judge who scored it a draw going into the 12th. Even if he just lost the round he would have still won the fight all he had to do to win was not get KD and that’s what happend. Fury is the one who let it slip away and lucky the fight wasn’t called off.
A fair complaint is the judge who scored it for Wilder gave him the first 4 rounds which seems like some BS and the Other 2 both only gave Wilder the first round.
Besides that the judges cards are very similar and in the 7th the judge who scored it for Wikder gave to Fury while the other 2 gave it to Wilder . So if he gave that round to Wikder like the other 2 judges and hypothetically take away 1’of his rounds he gave Wilder in the first 4 , it still would have ended in a MD.
You can call the first Canelo/Golovkin fight a robbery where 1 judge gave Canelo 10 rounds ( anout 8 rounds off from the opinion of most ) and the Judge who scored it a draw gave Canelo the 7th which was Golovkins strongest round who even got that round from the judge who only gave him 2 rounds . A fight where almost 90’% viewed Golovkin as the winner and the other 10% thinking it was a draw and 0% thinking Canelo won. The Wilder /Fury outcome was seen by The media /Fighters as much closer with 60% having Fury winning 29% a draw and 11% had Wilder winning. When at least 40 % agree with the result or.had Wilder winning you can’t say it was a robbery.
And for the Thread Starter actually have the balls to say Fury isn’t ducking when it’s obvious he is And was done in such a way by the secret negotiations with TR and what he giving up legacy wise in the rematch , This is one of the biggest swerves in a long time and would seem that Fury is legitimately shook.(And I try and never say that about fighters) Then goes on to say 50/50 isn’t a fair deal for Fury when he isn’t a draw in the States and the belt he’s bringing to the table is invisible
You can’t Claim to be a non biased boxing fan like many are claiming to be on here while not calling out Fury for these moves that can’t be seen as nothing but swerving and purposely avoiding a rematch . Which has Fury giving up a chance to be clearly seen as one of the 2 best HWs if he beat Wilder and be the one who would bring
A strap to a eventual AJ fight thats for all the marbles , that would be the biggest fight in the sport to make and biggest HW fight in decades. Instead he chose to stay safe and fight 2nd tier HWs on Espn with the likelyhood of a Wikder or AJ fight probably non existent now giving up the opportunity to viewed as unequivocally the best of his era just so there wouldn’t be the possibility of getting KTFO by Wilder in the rematch. You can’t praise or condone that wack sh.it when it’s clear Fury lost his confidence and part of his soul in the first fight and will do anything so the possibility of the rest of it can’t be took in the rematchLast edited by R_Walken; 02-27-2019, 07:11 AM.Comment

When almost half of the media / fighters agree with the decision that’s doesn’t say robbery
look at the scorecards , Fury has the fight locked for the W , all he had to do in the 12th was not get dropped, But that’s what happened he gave it away
The scorecards aren’t outrageous and almost the same except the judge who gave Wilder the first 4. But if you take away 1 of those first 4 rounds and have him score the 7th like
The other 2 judges it still results in a MD
when you get dropped twice in the last 4 rounds with the 2nd one leaving Fury lifeless for 6 seconds and have people wondering if they should call the coroner. it’s tough to make a case that you clearly deserved the decision when all Wilder needed for a draw after those KD and all 3 giving him the first round was 2 the judges giving him 1 of the remaining 8 rounds since 2 gave him the 7th.
Quit the tearsComment

Boxing is scored on rounds, not KD's. Fury won the fight and the vast majority of the boxing world agree.Comment

Terrible spin of events.
Here's a questionnaire:
Everything was going to plan in order to get the rematch signed until…….
1: Wrong. It was never alright because Haymons judges robbed Fury.
2: Wilder decided to not fight Fury
3: Fury signed a deal with ESPN.
Easy picking for the unbiased.Comment

The balls to say Fury wasn’t hurt. He laid lifeless on the canvas for 6 seconds in the 12th those 2 punches hurt Fury Physically and Mentally.
I’m sure he was concussed and felt the effects of never having been hit like that , but Fury gave up a chance if he beat Wikder to go on and fight AJ for all the marbles, the biggest Hw fight in decades with the winner being looked at as the best of his era.
He got shook so bad he gave away a opportunity to be in the history books to fight and probably fight 2nd tier HWs for a couple years. He’d rather be looked at running away from Wilder andblose out on a chance at history just so the chance of him getting KTFO by Wilder didn’t happen. If that’s not mentally defeated, shook and appear like his confidence and mojo got snatched away from those 2 punches. then what is.
When was the last time the perceived winner openly ran away from a rematch
Thanks for letting me know how boxing is scored and like I pointed out. With the KDs and all the judges giving Wilder the 1st and 2 giving him the second. 2 judges only needed to give him 1 of the remaining 8 rounds for it to be a draw. A fight that almost have thought was the right decision isn’t a robberyLast edited by R_Walken; 02-27-2019, 08:53 AM.Comment
