Wouldn't be mad at him surprising us & fight Whyte taking an opponent from Joshua if he wins.

Might not be a bad idea to do the Ortiz rematch now either.

Kownacki could be in the running to although seems a lil early for him to get a title shot.
He will never fight Ortiz again and I don’t blame him he has dealt with him there is no need to deal with him again and risked getting knocked out. I rate Ortiz but unless he is a mandatory there is no real benefit fighting him. At least if he fought Whyte he would be paid handsomely and he will dispose of Whyte pretty easily in my opinion

PPV, no way!! It wouldn’t do 100,000 buys. It will dent Wilder’s confidence, they can’t do that to him. Brezeale is to blame because he is a dog S#hit dance partner.

A bold move move if it is PPV

It will be on FOX in a prime time slot. He has done well for them. Wilder will be the meat of the promotion.

Yeah the under the table 9 figures that Haymon hides for his fighter in Panama lol.

I think Whyte would definitely sell more, because of the british (Foreigner angle), but he already told Whyte he would freeze him out for two years.
Seems the whole what you got paid in your last fight is only a big deal among AJ/Hearn fans. It gets discussed among other fans at times, but seems to be particularly important to AJ/Hearn fans...go figure. Hearn seems to be the only promoter that focuses on prior purse size.

Why is it so hard for "certain" fans to understand that the benefit of working with Haymon is that he shows fighters how to create alternate revenue streams outside of the typical purse. Seems that they like not having to deal with a greedy promoter who things he's part of the show like DLH, Hearn, Arum.

Whyte joining PBC and fighting Wilder first would be dumb for Whyte. Losing in your US debut is not how you market yourself to US fans for future fights. It would be great for him to get a title shot but a huge financial risk. Whyte is a upgrade over Breazeale but getting the mando out of the way is probably better at this stage (the money won't be much different).

Fighters aren't paid what they want , it's what they generate unless they have a contract or company that is guaranteeing them money like DAZN is for Miller in his next fight which is way more then Wilders non PPV fights .

Showtime would get killed in money if they put a Breazeale PPV on ,it would do a fraction of what Fury pulled in. Unless I'm unaware they signed a long term Wilder contract I don't see this happening .

This is the problem with protected fighters who decide to fight Arreola and Szpilkas , Duahapas etc....when it comes time to complete with already two bigger draws you are running third place because you wanted to play games and fool the fans with soft touches for a decade and decline big fights trying to run on someone's name , this is Wilder!

Would Wilder move from receiving 7million to 2million now? Just wondering how he would fare now without Fury. This is why Joshua is the bigger star

All am saying is no one walk away from 80mil.
I didn't see you come to cry when wilder walked away from 15mil and 40%.
