  • Comments Thread For: Team Wilder: We're Still Going To Fight on May 18

As far as Deontay Wilder and his team are concerned, the plan for his immediate future remains the same. The unbeaten heavyweight titlist still has every intention of returning to the ring on May 18, manager Shelly Finkel confirmed to BoxingScene.com on Tuesday. His side also plans to treat that occasion as yet another opportunity to serve as an ambassador of the sport.

kind of amazing its even up for consideration for options of the next opponent . Breazeale is his mandatory and he's stalled that fight since it was ordered. Is Wilder allergic to mandatories ? WBC is crazy.

Seems like Breazeale will be the guy.

Wouldn't be mad at him surprising us & fight Whyte taking an opponent from Joshua if he wins.

Might not be a bad idea to do the Ortiz rematch now either.

Kownacki could be in the running to although seems a lil early for him to get a title shot.
