That also happens to be the only loss on his record. So... Not sure what everyone is talking about lol.

Now Canelo is starting to walk forward with a high guard and different approach. It may very well be that Canelo is insecure to hurt his kneee again, because only the athlete knows what it feels like, so it’s very well possible that Canelo is cautious. Never thought about this before. Caenlo’s been using a knee brace for everything since his surgery. That’s fff’d up but lucky he got a bag with DAZN. Not sure how long Canelo can hold out on that injury in the next 5 years. The guy’s a beast.

This is getting to be a bit Passe.
I liked GGG and felt he shoulda got the W in the first fight, and yeah Canelo is the home town boxer in Vegas so he will benefit from the cards a bit (as happens with all home town fighters and really home teams in all sports). But everyone is making it out to be like he is getting Sven Ottke treatment. It aint that bad.
Will he get the benefit of close rounds? Most likely. Can he lose a decision? Yes. Will he? Gotta wait and see.

I have a history on this forum of making big calls, often unusual predictions that come true, so don’t go thinking I’m talking nonsense. Going back to Garcia vs Khan I called the round and the method of despatch, I was the first to call out Canelo on PED’s way before the news broke (like a year before) and I took a tirade from his fans on here for that. I recently predicted a draw in Fury vs Wilder and voila! That’s what we got. Not to mention only last week calling out that Fury vs Wilder 2 would wait whilst Wilder fought Breazeale and look how that’s going.

You idiot!
The reason I think this is possible is more to do with circumstance. Jacobs is coming to make a statement and Canelo is now on a huge contract and just expected to win. Canelo imo was on more PEDs than just the Clubeterol (and I really don’t want to get into a debate on this specific subject, we can agree to disagree), but imo he has had to reign those in and with each subsequent fight I believe he’ll lose some stamina. Also, you are right, Canelo to date has been like granite, but he is a human and after two wars with GGG he might begin to break down. Quitting on his stool is a long shot, getting KO’d not so much, Jacobs can punch and gets stronger as fights go on, he’ll be dangerous in later rounds.

Wow..I agree with BJS. It will probably rain today. Let's break it down though: both have good chins, I don't see knock out either way. Both are on elite level meaning that the fight will be close, there will be no one-sided action there. And we all know how close fights are judged when Canelo is involved. Its only logical to assume that Danny will lose. Its not even about Danny's ability as such, replace Danny with any elite fighter's name and it will be the same outcome. There is no suspense, no surprising results when Canelo is involved. I don't hate Canelo, I respect him as a fighter and even his PEDs issues, I think he did it because of some self-doubt (unfounded, perhaps) rather that out of necessity. Fighter like him does not need PEDs, but, sadly, he sometimes needs the judges.
