    Speak for your self jackass. Golovkin beat Jacobs and Canelo in all the fights. Go learn how to score a fight and leave your biases out of it.

      are you serious ?

      this is the official scoring criteria

      * clean hard punching
      * effective aggression
      * ring generalship
      * defence

      " punch stats "

      come on man, only casual fans use compubox to score a fight

        actually, I did not say that Jacobs beat Golovkin..... and, Canelo clearly won the rematch..... I said that Golovkin got exposed, by Jacobs and then by Canelo

        what happened to the supposed killer ?

        it is funny when guys who think that pitty-pat jabs are official scoring criteria..... and who forget all about clean hard punching, effective aggression, ring generalship, and defence..... tell you to learn how to score a fight

          Punch stats generally help to tell the story. How did you score it?

          I just watched it again recently and I had 5 clear rounds for GGG - 4,5,9,10,11 and then the other seven fairly close with Canelo taking 4 and GGG taking 3. Good fight.

          Canelo definitely did some good work and in most of the close rounds he was landing the bigger shots while GGG was landing more shots. I feel in general GGG was landing cleaner throughout the fight as well. A lot of Canelo's work to the body was good but I think a lot of it was smothered and it's hard to tell what all got through clean. But even giving him credit for a lot of that work GGG's constant scoring is just tough for anyone to deal with.

            That is not the official scoring criteria. The primary facet that judges pay attention to is punches landed and their gut feeling based on scoring numerous fights. Those so-called scoring criteria are guidelines put in place to help judges pick a winner in each round if they are undecided. Clean hard punches. Each one of the categories you mentioned is based on perception and the subject to numerous variables like the angle the judge is sitting relative to the action in the ring, their own bias as to what constitutes a clean punch etc. My experience is that casual fans don't go to Compubox. Casual fans are generally at the fight or viewing the fight for entertainment. Boxing fans go there to fact check their impression of the fight if it appears controversial.

              too bad GGG's own trainer doesn't even believe that.
