Hey I think it was Rasheed Wallace who said 'those guys have big houses too.' Canelo is a hell of a fighter and fought well and did some good work. But overall I think he was outworked by GGG which is what GGG always does even as he goes for the KO. His workrate and scoring with the jab is incredible. A lot of people just seem to want to ignore GGG's jab when it comes to scoring that fight. He should get credit for that.
Canelo probably landed about as many good hard shots as GGG did but it was probably close on the big shots anyway and GGG just landed more punches overall, and most importantly won more rounds.Last edited by Boxing_1013; 02-25-2019, 11:51 PM.Comment

As I mentioned I was impressed with Canelo in both fights and he did some good work, especially in the second fight. Both fights were boxing matches that went 12 rounds lol; both guys were going to have their moments. A lot of people who support Canelo act like he won every second of every round lol, and ignore the good consistent work GGG did in both fights. People like that just take away from the fun boxing discussion that could be had on this site about fights like that.
And for the record my earlier comment was saying that Ouma touched GGG up worse than Canelo did. And he did. I know most Canelo fans haven't actually watched that fight but Ouma did better against GGG than anyone else he faced before the KO.Comment

Now I know you're just a Triple g nuttrider! You gave Canelo just one round in the first fight and three in the second?Canelo fought well and tough in both fights...but still lost 10-1-1 in the first fight and 8-3-1 in the second, according to compubox. That you are hyping Canelo up after those performances is rather pathetic.
Again - how did you score the Ouma fight if you are going to that strongly disagree with the assertion that Ouma did much more work against GGG? The only people who have actually watched that GGG Ouma fight are GGG fans lol.
Four total rounds out of the 24 rounds???? DAMN!
Talk about deepthroating,...
Maybe you should teach my girl how to suck **** cause she's not that great in that department but you obviously are!Comment

You really are a hypocrite! You say Canelo fans act like he won every second of every round but you're the one who gave Canelo 4 rounds out of the 24... So who's really being biased???As I mentioned I was impressed with Canelo in both fights and he did some good work, especially in the second fight. Do you even know how to score a fight????Comment

1) - I said that's what the compubox numbers said, that wasn't my score ( I had it 8-4 in both) in the fight. And I made that comment in reference to the comment below from another poster. When responding to someone on here it is a good idea to actually read their comment and also read the comment they are responding to, if applicable. Now I know you're just a Triple g nuttrider! You gave Canelo just one round in the first fight and three in the second?

2) - I referenced the Compubox numbers because this guy said Canelo worked over GGG...and anyone hyping up what Canelo did to that extent when he got outlanded in 18 of the 22 (2 ties)...I mean they just aren't a serious analyst.
Is just the little GGG fangirls don't want to give Canelo no props because he put hands on there one dimensional daddy now they claiming kassim ouma did more damage I mean is blaphemy and they don't **** about boxing - Some other guy

I assume you are trolling Mr Stomps because surely you can read better than that...never said Canelo won 4 out of 24 rounds. I thought he won 4 in each fight and the compubox numbers would back me up on that, and would actually say I'm being conservative on that for GGG.
The compubox numbers, which people are free to dispute, I do sometimes, say Canelo lost 18 of 22 (2 ties) against GGG. To ignore those numbers though and say that Canelo worked GGG over those 2 fights, I mean it just didn't happen. If it did I would give Canelo credit, hell he is whiter than GGG so if I was just going by race I would be all for it lol .Comment
