When responding to someone on here it is a good idea to actually read their comment and also read the comment they are responding to, if applicable.

    2) - I referenced the Compubox numbers because this guy said Canelo worked over GGG...and anyone hyping up what Canelo did to that extent when he got outlanded in 18 of the 22 (2 ties)...I mean they just aren't a serious analyst.

Is just the little GGG fangirls don't want to give Canelo no props because he put hands on there one dimensional daddy now they claiming kassim ouma did more damage I mean is blaphemy and they don't **** about boxing - Some other guy

Canelo fought well and tough in both fights...but still lost 10-1-1 in the first fight and 8-3-1 in the second, according to compubox. That you are hyping Canelo up after those performances is rather pathetic.

Again - how did you score the Ouma fight if you are going to that strongly disagree with the assertion that Ouma did much more work against GGG? The only people who have actually watched that GGG Ouma fight are GGG fans lol. - me
IDK if you know this but those compubox numbers aren't accurate. IDK why so many people put too much weight on those numbers...
Me, I judge a fight with my own two eyes. And I have great eye vision before you start to wonder.
I don't need compubox numbers to tell me what I saw.

I can certainly relate to not always believing the compubox numbers. I think those numbers more or less backed up what I saw in those fights but not exactly either, otherwise I would have probably had the same exact score as the numbers.

As an example I think I had it 3-2 for GGG after 5 but he won every round on compubox and was up by 28 punches after 5. I think I had round 6 very close even though Canelo appeared to outland GGG by a significant amount. I need to watch both fights again to see exactly which rounds I gave to which guy and by what margin (if the round was close or pretty clear).

My point in mentioning the compubox numbers was to say to another poster that they demonstrate GGG was clearly an active participant in both fights lol. And a lot of people who don't like GGG act like he just got white-washed lol and those numbers certainly dispute that.

Again I agree that I too can object to compubox numbers, but I'd say 90% of the time they back up what I see and they did in both of those fights more or less. The compubox numbers I usually have trouble accepting are the ones where a fighter throws 200 more punches and is landing a lot imo, and it seems to be a close fight, but compubox has the landed punch count very close or even in favor of the other guy, and the other guy gets a clear UD victory.

His trainer told him to his face he was losing and stop being a puzzy backing up and jabbing then after the fight did a dozen different interviews praising and dyck riding Canelo telling reporters and fans GGG didn't win the fight and that the game plan they worked on in the gym was NOT to run away from a Mexican Style fight.

Canelo turned GGG's own trainer into Canelo's number 1. So of course he is picking Canelo over Jacobs word is he asked for a signed Canelo poster as well. He was disgusted in GGG letting Canelo do this to his face and running away from Mexican Style after he begged for a Mexican Style fight LMAO

          Just the fu.cking truth

No ? Where the hell did u pull that from ? Hes hasn't looked good because he just hasn't idk what his issue is. Went 12 with arias, went 12 with sulecki and struggled looked okay against chencko who is still unproven that GGG fight was probably his best 12 round performance and it had nothing to do with his weight cuz he didn't use it in the ring

All good. I don't get the whole weight thing with Jacobs. I agree that it was messed up that he purposely skipped out on the 2nd weigh in & GGG put in the extra work & complied with the rules, not knowing. But on fight night Danny didn't use the extra weight to his advantage, he was clearly bigger but he never tried to muscle Gennady or lean on him.

He boxed from the outside almost the whole fight. One could maybe make the argument that the extra weight helped him absorb the punches better but he still got dropped which cost him the fight in my opinion. It was a pretty boring fight in retrospect aside from the kd there aren't any memorable moments that I could think of

I think the weight was more of a mental edge and by the way Jacobs fell to his knees in relief of the fight being over its obvious he felt lucky to survive ggg keep in mind he avoided that fight till a purse bid and that

Yeah that fight was a case of people thinking a guy won because he exceeded expectations. Like I said neither of them did anything spectacular besides Danny getting knocked down and GGG not getting a ko for the 1st time in like 20 something fights
