Protecting the investment, the same treatment Canelo has gotten.
They saying he has actual equity on the platform... shlt even Canelo don't have that 😂
The playing field may not be even until/if he faces someone like Canelo...Comment

This is now the 3rd time Mike Coppinger has cried wolf about GGG signing with DAZN. First said a deal was all done back in Oct and that Loeffler was closing the deal. Nothing happened. Then Loeffler was out the loop and in Jan Mike said Hearn and GGG were finalizing a deal and it was all done. Nothing happened.
So I'm not falling for that again until GGG or DAZN announce it. Coppinger has been spotty and fed bad info many times. I also don't put much stock in equity report. Without knowing the terms it could mean nothing. Most start up companies gives their employees equity and it's usually so minor the amount it means nothing. Years later the company sells and only the founders and investor's make millions the rest of employees get a check for a couple hundred bucks at best. A lot was made out of Jay-Z owning equity in the Nets. Only years later we found out it was really nothing and he sold it so he could make real money as a agent.
The real news if true is that GGG is trying to get dates for his own promotional company. Not for dates for 360 promotions loeffler's promotional company. It was as recent as 4 months ago that Loeffler was saying any network trying to sign GGG signs will have to give 360 promotional dates and a budget. So is GGG officially kicking Loeffler out? lolComment

I'm not up on the contract situation of Eubank Jr but that seems like it could do big numbers if it were on DAZN. I'm sure GGG could meet him at 164 or something or even go to 168 for a one off if he plans on fighting Canelo at 160 in september.Comment

When Shane Mosley signed with Golden Boy they said he gained equity and became a minor owner in the company. Everyone went crazy about it but years later when Mosley left he said equity wasn't worth anything because the shares (percentage) he was given was so small. Alot was made out of Oscar giving fighters ownership of Golden Boy to sign back in 2000's but we now Oscar wasn't giving out large percentages of his own company. Sounds good in a press release but unless you getting large stake ownership I wouldn't count on any money then what he is guaranteed fight.Comment

partial ownership in DAZN/profits. Means that even after he done boxing, DAZN will be sending him a check forever for his piece of the profits.. Need to know the actual details cuz someone else above said it could not be much, but Hearn, Oscar, Canelo didnt even get equity which is a hell of an offer.Comment
