Instead, Fury got a whole 10 count to snap out of it and additional time walking back and forth to get his senses back.

I know what I saw. That was a KO.
I totally agree, and exactly what I have been saying, along with other ref's, former boxers, etc. The problem is that the hate for Wilder is go great that common sense or any sense at all goes out the window. No one can provide another instance where a fight was not waved off in a similar situation.

By the same logic, Tyson should've won over Douglas after his knockdown...

The best is measured in their level of competition. AJ has the better resume right now.

We hear from Wilder's Mom who says her son is the best heavyweight.

Quoting shills like Lewis and Holyfield does not add credibility to Wilder's body of work.
He is a not very good one trick pony who is hiding from Joshua and Whyte.

I still think AJ is the best all-around HW at the moment with the best skillset out of the bunch and the most potential even though his promoter makes him look bad and scared at times. I rate Wilder 2nd because he has the devastating power and speed but is still somewhat raw and could use another trainer added to his corner to learn new tricks. Fury is a good defensive fighter who uses showboating to get favor in close fights, that has little to no power and can seemingly only fight going backward against good opposition who are his size or close to it.

Evander is entitled to his opinion just like the rest of us and has a better idea of what makes a fighter the best of the bunch but we don't have to agree with him if we don't want to.

Lying Eddie said one time no one wants to see AJ vs Pulev after what Wlad did to him, and sometimes you have to give up a belt to let the fans see the fights they want. When Ortiz became AJ's other mandatory, Pulev suddenly became a fearsome dangerous opponent. As soon as Pulev signed they called Takam to start training as a back up plan, because Pulev has pulled out before.

Lying Eddie told the public Wilder was their #1 goal, but after turning down $50 million and saying they had a 24hr mandatory deadline out of no where, Povetkin was the priority, and they pulled out of negotiations.

Most recently Joshua said publicly if he can't get Wilder or Fury to fight, Ortiz would be next. Now they are fighting Miller.

If you can't see any pattern here with team AJ, something is wrong.

About the $50 million, AJ said its not about the money. Next it is, next it isn't, now it is blah blah blah.

I don't necessarily agree with Holyfield. I'm actually shocked he picked Wilder. He also said Joshua is more skilled so I'm not sure what criteria he's using to form his opinion.

Joshua is the best HW but he's doing everything he can to avoid fighting Wilder. The reason being him and his team knows all it takes is one punch from Wilder to change the fight. I seriously doubt Joshua is worried about getting KO'd by Miller.

Everyone keep saying Fury outclassed Wilder for 12 rounds like that was shocking. Wilder got outclassed by Gerald Washington before he knocked him out. That was no great accomplishment by Fury and Wilder came mighty close to knocking him out.

Finally, what would Joshua do if he fell behind against a fighter like Fury and had come up with a fight ending KO punch? Wilder proved time and time again that he's way more dangerous than any other HW today.

And he should have too! Very long count for Douglas!

I happen to agree with you. I personally, had Tyson Fury winning a very close fight against Deontay Wilder on just his defense alone.

However, at the same time you cannot justify taking the champion's title away short of not taking risks, throwing enough punches or hurting and beating the champion up to the point of knocking him out like Luis Ortiz did.

Fury was content on just running out the clock and going to the scorecards. You can't win a title that way. Freddie Roach was right. He had to fight Wilder or KO him at best in order to defeat him. It was Tyson Fury's own body language that allowed that fight to slip away.

Moreover, the judges awarded that title to the fighter who they believed wanted it the most and that was Deontay Wilder. He was the aggressor through the fight and kept coming forward all night long.

I hope Tyson Fury has learned his lesson because if he fights like that again he just may lose; Possibly this time by knockout.

He risks not only his undefeated record but also, his health, future and legacy. Not many current Heavyweight boxers and champions can say that.
Are you being serious? The guy's only fought two live opponents, and against one of them he got a gift draw.
