he's significantly heavier than he was for the Wilder rematch.

I can never understand how a guy can go through a training camp and still look fat.

Not really taking about Stiverne, i guess he doesn't care much at this point but guys like Adam Kownacki. He seems pretty dedicated, does full training camps and fights regularly enough. How on earth do they still come in looking so fat?

There was a time when I thought Stiverne could have a really good run at HW with his catch and shoot counterpunching style and solid inside game. He had a very interesting skillset for a HW but since capturing the WBC I doubt he's even trained a day.

I have to hold my hands up and admit I was wrong despite tomorrows outcome. This guys a total slob.

So much for him taking this fight serious. One punch can change everything but his weight suggests he's just coming for a paycheque. Already lost interest in this one.

I dont know what Stiverne is doing in the locker room, to prepare for the fights...sleeping . But it takes him half the fight to get warmed up. Very slow starter.

He’s somehow in way worse shape than he was against Wilder 😬😬

                No doubt.

Vitali retired because it was time, but I've always believed knowing he had a real threat waiting for his mandatory shot definitely helped him make up his mind a little.

People can laugh all they want now, because hindsight is 20/20, but Stiverne looked like a sharp, smart, skilled heavyweight in that first Arreola fight.

But he was done with boxing the second those funds hit his account from the first Wilder fight.

the sad thing is that he could lose 10 of those lbs f#cking easily, the guy is a pro athlete with nothing to do but train. after that it'd get tough, but even at his age he could, witht he right diet and if he actually went to the gym, get down to 240 lbs and at least have a puncher's chance against somebody like joe joyce, who is ponderous, telegraphs his shots, and is not a great or even very good fighter if you can make him miss.

Really? Stiverne is tailor made for Vitali IMO. I always thought Stiverne was pretty decent myself, even picked him to beat Wilder (only the first fight obviously) but he’s too much of a plodder to trouble Vitali, he’d be eating the jab and 1-2 all night.

An in shape and motivated Stiverne would give Joyce hell...
