I think all parents worry about their sons losing, regardless of who they fight.

He’s finished, it’s his last fight, I promise you that. He’s going to get a schooling. “I’m proven. I’ve been there, I’ve done that, I’ve won everything. You are an idiot, you’ve won nothing and I’m going to beat and retire you.”

Not really a DeGale fan, however I hope he is right and this is the end of Eubank Jr. Not sure he can pull it off though.
He will. I’m loving how the ridiculous hype for Eubank is finally dying. There’s so much less deluded belief around his camp this time and far less confidence amongst his clueless fans, of which there are now noticeably fewer.
Denis Douglin has just done an interview as soon as he arrived in the US and said he thinks Degale will win. His Dad is admitting there’s a big possibility he’ll lose, as opposed to when he was saying he beat GGG and is as good as Ward.
I’m confident Degale wins and Eubank will have to taste another dose of reality.

I believe Eubank Jr has already shown his ceiling but James has had a really tough career.

Respect to Degale regardless. I hope he wins tbh.

But, knees knackered, bad shoulder, seems to take a lot of shots no matter who he is in there with now.

Regardless DeGale needs to retire imo.

Eubank will still be youngish and have name value in Britain. Tbh, I think we already know he can’t be a world champion. He’s a good athlete and he can fight but he doesn’t have much boxing acumen and the final straw is that he is sort of marooned between weight classes. He’s a bit small for 168 and clearly he mustn’t
        fancy making 160.
He can make 160 OK. The reason he went to 168 was because the fights were easier.
GGG, Charlo, Andrade, Jacobs, until this week Saunders and maybe Canelo would all be possible opponents.

Degale has never been stopped and only been down once. Eubank doesn’t even hit very hard but you think he’ll be the first to stop him? I thought you’d have learned your lesson with Eubank...

.If degales loses, it maybe the end for dega!e if he wants it to be. He might be too embarrassed to fight again.
But I don't see it that way for eubank. He loses to degale, but he will put a winning run on and get another shot someday. Eubanks can beat anyone not called degale, ggg, nelo, bjs, jacobs

Plant and Smith would beat him at 168, Andrade and Charlo would at 160, no doubt with others to emerge who would also have the beating of him. He just isn’t good enough to hold his own in world class.

Eubanks Snr knows that if Jnr loses he will likely be facing a third bankruptcy.

Tell me you did NOT just say Broner. A guy who learned from his dominant loss against Mikey by taking a dominant loss against Pacquiao.
