You're spot on! And the irony-it was Wilder who was talking about freezing someone out...

They won't. WBC is in Haymon's pocket.

Bob Arum will duck the purse bid. You know that.

We were close to getting a rematch of a compelling, meaningful heavyweight fight. And the scum Arum had to insert himself into the middle of it and ruin it.

Maybe if the WBC makes a new special belt the fight can be saved

Mauricio get a grip dude! Are you fucking ******? You can't catch a hint?. You are an intelligent man. The fight has been cancelled indefinitely because Arum and Warren has pulled out of the purse bid. You are not illiterate. You have a lot of experience in this area. So you don't need a weather report. I mean status report of this fight. Just read between the lines. You are a master at studying human psychology and body language. Let me spell it out to you.

            The F-I-G-H-T -I-S -O-F-F.

The nerve of this asshole guy.

^^^^ This is very true. Tyson Fury is a one and done type of guy. Once he achieves a goal he never wants to replicate it.

At least he could hang his hat and state that he had indeed barely gone the distance against the most feared puncher in the heavyweight division. He was dropped and nearly decapitated to the canvas in the 12th round by Wilder, where he thought he had died and sustained permanent brain damage.

It was life changing experience for Fury; to the point where it put the fear of God in him. Therefore, he wants no further smoke or conflicts with Deontay Wilder now or in the future.

Can you blame him though? After he hit that canvas and coughed it was almost like his soul literally left his body. His trainer had his hands clasped together like he was in church praying too all mighty god that this dude wasn't dead. His wife is ringside doing the same... safe to say it was a traumatic experience for him, His family and his whole team.

At least he had the balls to step in there in the first place. I knew once the post fight interview took place he didn't want anymore. "I'm gonna spend christmas with the family and think about the next move".

You are exactly right. Tyson was hedging on a rematch after the fight by saying he wanted to spend the Holidays with his family but Wilder did not. Deontay wanted to run it back as soon as possible.

So no I can't blame Tyson Fury for avoiding the rematch because he probably has never been hit that hard before in his life. In addition, he has a wife and his children to consider. He wants to exit this game with enough money and both his health and faculties still intact.

People really believe these guys won't take risky fights for huge money?

No. They would do it. All of us would.

The problem is when they can still make big money without taking risky fights. That will be the preferred option and you can understand their choice.

Joshua can do it. Fury has just cashed in on his reputation and can now do it. Wilder's move now.

Suddenly, I think we'll get Wilder v Joshua late this year. Joshua wants it and Wilder needs it.
