I said it before and I’ll say it again, Wlder’s next big fight is AJ. He will not risk his O and title on a fight he already lost once vs Fury so they’ll make sure they have a 2 fight deal with AJ lined up.

This has always made the most sense to me.
Wilder-Fury 2 is a big payday but it's a legitimate 50/50 fight; a Wilder loss hurts his earning power quite a bit.
Wilder with his WBC belt in a full unification with AJ and a two-way rematch clause produces by far the greatest expected earnings for Wilder.

Frankly, I think Deontay was so pissed at Eddie Hearn/AJ that he wanted to lock them out out of spite.

I don’t think people even takes the time to read anymore, it says in article wilder/fury2 was agreed upon with announcement could of happen this week but fury signing with arum basically might restart talks all over which he hinting at in article with the May 18th date and fight location
