your right, Fury sounds like he used this move to duck the rematch & face some pulevs/whytes etc. of the world instead. Nothing new with top rank fighters choosing to put themselves on an island where they can face C/D levels for big bucks with a built in excuse for ducking. I thought Fury deserved the W the 1st fight & likely the 2nd too,but getting dropped by Wilder jars your brain.

He could've surely gotten that deal from Showtime also,thats not much for Furys profile right now. AJ makes that in 3 fights vs nobodies basically. If Fury was actually planning on rematching Wilder next he wouldn't have done this move,he can make that much in 2 fights vs Wilder & AJ. Fury wouldn't have reset negotiations completely as he just did,& he wouldn't have come out with a "they need to come to me now" declaration.
