Comments Thread For: Arum: Wilder-Fury Rematch Could Be Next, But We Don't Know

Bob Arum is more than open to Tyson Fury fighting Deontay Wilder next. The Hall-of-Fame promoter just needs to know how willing those that work with Deontay Wilder will be to work with his company and ESPN to make that immediate rematch happen. Now that Arum's Top Rank Inc. has signed England's Fury to a multi-fight agreement for the lineal heavyweight champion to box on ESPN in the United States, he'll help co-promoter Frank Warren decide Fury's next move.

Up to Wilder. He says he's free to fight on whatever network he wants. So ESPN shouldn't be a problem.

"CBS, which owns BoxingScene.com, is Showtime’s parent company as well"

      Explains a lot.

Arums not making it. Unless he gets the rights to the next x amount of fights. Arum isn’t the type to marinate fights. He overcooks them. Good luck to him. He’s gonna pay fury 20mill to fight pulev and Rivas. Get paid Tyson get paid.

Big move by Arum, inserted himself at the top of the HW division where he was no where near when it comes with his stable of fighters.

Duck move on fury part his comments last few days showed he wasn’t really interested in taking rematch next anyways this deal helps him get out of it and why would Pulev agree to fight him when he already mando for aj belt

Alot of people are dropping cable. So ESPNs reach is getting smaller unless they are dropping a free ESPN app.

Good luck to Fury but if he doesn't face Wilder next I for 1 won't bother watching him face some Arum placed bums instead. Arum dropping dead would be the greatest thing for Boxing,he ruins fighters by having them waste their careers against lessor opponents so he can win big.
