Kovalev Missed 1 VADA Test in January? Eleider had 2

Reported by WBN. Here's a report from January.

The best testing was Pacquiao vs Broner. 3 tests each preparing for January 19.

    Kovalev and Eleider Alvarez, inconsistent.

Eleider Alvarez tested twice, Kovalev only once? I will assume his missed date, as allowed for Charlos Bros., but his penalty fee wasn't disclosed to the public.

Dillian Whyte didn't even fight in Jan. Good man.

I don't understand why people claim WBC-CBP is 365. If that were the case, why don't we have the following Top 15 not shown in the list from Middleweights:

    1. Jermall Charlo
    2. Gennady Golovkin
    3. Kamil Szeremet
    4. Hassan N'Dam N'Jik SILVER * CBP/P
    5. Ryota Murata Japan * CBP/P
    6. Billy Joe Saunders
    7. Jason Quigley
    8. Jack Culcay
    9. Yamaguchi Falcao
    10. Sergey Derevyanchenko CBP/P
    11. Esquivia Falcao
    12. Steven Butler Canada
    13. Matt Korobov
    14 Luis Arias
    15. Gabriel Rosado CBP/P

365 just means they can test you at any time. They have so many fighters signed up they can't test them all the time, they seem to target big name fighters leading up to fights. The unpopular fighters will rarely get tested.

No, Kovalev/Alvarez had contracted testing leading up to their fight. Kovalev couldn't have missed a test. It is different if it is for the 365 program. You are allowed two missed tests for that, but not for contracted testing.

So you’re saying Pac Broner both got tested 3 times during fight month, but Alvarez 2 times, and Kovalev just 1 time?

That report is directly from VADA. Did you honestly look at the list?

          Eleider Alvarez Jan. 4th collection
          Sergey Kovalev Jan. 5th collection

          Eleider Alvarez Jan. 8th collection
          Sergey Kovalev ????????

From the report Kovalev did not have a follow up test like Alvarez on the 8-9th, weeks before the fight.

They don't necessarily test both guys the same amount of times.

Vada's site says congratulations for both completing testing. maybe they just only asked Kovalev to do one test?

You know how promoters do business. Both fighters have to have an equal amount of tests, that’s the whole point of two guys doing testing before a fight. Either Michel knew Kovalev wasn’t tested like Eleider on the 8th or 9th and reached an agreement for whatever reason, non disclosed to salvage the fight, or he’s plain ******.

How do you get to the conclusion that Kovalev missed one test? Maybe he was tested at the end of december and Alvarez wasn't. Or maybe VADA was appeared to test him just once.

“Necessarily?” My friend, VADA is about necessity for clean sport. Have you guys ever seen how May PAC tests were reported? It’s always 1:1 testing. If fighter A gets 3 tests the other gets 3 tests, both promoters pay for this
