          At 32, Crolla has 6 losses against average and nondescript fighters. What's his best win? What does he do best? Crolla is a never-was.

          Fighting Lopez would be a million times better.
          Crolla is a slick boxer with good defensive skills and can handle himself. He is a top 10 lightweight right now. Thats a pretty good accomplishment and within reason for an opponent.

          Not every opponent is gonna be a "fill in the blank for whatever term you want to use to describe arbitrary level of greatness". There just arent that many out there that meet the mark.

          That being written, Crolla has earned the shot and is quality enough to deserve it. He is far more worthy than say Zlat was when he got the shot at Mikey.
