No offense but folks who wear their religion like a badge seem to be among the most crooked and overall dishonest people in the world.

Found this Bit of Info on the Case
"Lloyd’s of London has asked a California federal court to dismiss a $6.3 million disability coverage claim from ex-pro boxer Andre Ward, saying the policy at issue was written for his management company, not Ward specifically".
The suit was filed on December 14, 2018. Lloyds is now seeking to dismiss the case and the next hearing is set for April 12. Now the above is only 1 of possibly more reasons Lloyd's is asking for the judge to toss the case.Comment

Andre Ward not only is an honorless dirty cheat (Low blows, headbutts, holding) he is also a scamming con artist as evidenced by yet ANOTHER LAWSUIT, trying to bully .....
Ward is a disgrace to boxing and Roc Nation clearly trying to get back money after foolishly losing so much on Ward. Two cowardly hustlers scamming again.Comment

I'm not saying they are going to win the lawsuit, but to call it BS without seeing the policy or the petition is a stretch. The question a judge or jury will have to answer is can Ward fight on the injured knee without health risk. When he first injured the knee may be irrelevant because the policy may insure Ward for a # of future fights or projected earnings.
Ward is the primary plaintiff with et al used to signify that other en****** were benefactors of the insurance policy. Someone gave the notion that RocNation was seeking to recoup losses...yet all they would get is a portion of the 6.3M as if it were a purse.
The only injury listed is a knee injury 06/25/15 which required a 4-6 week recovery. It does not seem like a career ending injury to me.Last edited by jdp28tx; 02-14-2019, 10:34 PM.Comment

"Ward, 34, said he suffered what turned out to be a prohibitive knee injury while training in October 2016, the month before he edged Sergey Kovalev by unanimous decision in their first light heavyweight title fight,"
If he had a career ending injury in Oct 2016 how the hell did he have two successful fights after the injury against the top light heavyweight at the time? During those fights he did not even wear a knee brace or knee sleeve. And after those fights he openly talked about moving to heavyweight.Comment
