Ward suffered injury which supposedly has “ended his career” in October 2016. Yet he fought less than a month after it happened and also fought again the next year. He not only fought but beat a consensus top 5 p4p fighter. The injury obviously weren’t that bad then...

Also I think I've seen 4 or 5 guys in recent years fighting with one leg + one kickstand so idk if there is such a thing as a career ending leg injury in boxing.

Also, Jose Benevides when he fought Crawford with one bad leg. He did pretty well considering his compromised mobility.
